He was knowledgeable and gave me what I thought was a fair quote of $1,800. The two other quotes I got for the same job were for $2,950. and $4,800. I am very familiar with home construction work as I have lived in my home since 1961 and have had 2 major add-ons and several inside remodels done during the past 59 years. Lifetime Construction showed up precisely on time for appointments ( a rarity among contractors) and performed the work as contracted. I would definitely use them again. "Emailed company for an estimate to repair or replace some interior doors. Got a prompt reply and set up a time for the appointment. The owner assessed the job and told us that repair was all that was needed, not replacement. He also gave us some insight into a future job that we are considering and could consider the company for. The repairs were able to be scheduled within a week and the job was well done. Only snag was a little mix up in the time that the job was to start, but this was very minor. Overall we are very happy with the experience. We very much appreciate the experience level of the people we dealt with (Jim and Tom).

"We hired Barrier Construction to take care of some stucco issues and repair some structural damage on our house. They were great to work with. They were able to deal with both the structural issues AND the stucco issues, while all other companies we spoke to only dealt with one or the other (meaning we would have to hire and coordinate multiple contractors) and they did a great job. They even noticed and corrected some cosmetic issues (for al fee) that another company had created when working on the house. (They were a mild annoyance whenever we looked at the house but would have been a big lift for us to fix ourselves, and we appreciated their proactive approach when we felt the other company had been fairly neglectful and inattentive to detail in their work). While other general contractors we’ve worked with have been difficult to get ahold of or generally haven’t felt very ‘present’, Barrier was easy to communicate with, they kept us updated, were very responsive, and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend them."
