"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"Called and spoke to Jim the owner. I wanted my existing metal unsecured mailbox replaced with a secure one I purchased online. Since the wood post was in good condition I wanted to keep it and just have the new one mounted on it. Jim was very professional and accommodating to my schedule. He came out promptly and did the installation of the new one quickly. He had to do some sawing and maneuvering to get it to work out but it came out perfect. "I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner, Jim, that resulted in me giving him and his company a chance to provide their services. Kevin was the team lead and was very professional and pleasant. He and his team arrived around 9a ready to work. He checked with me to ensure that he understood what I needed, and they proceeded to work. They were finished in about 2.5 hours, and I walked around back to see how the bushes looked. I was pleased with how neatly cut they were and with how well the leaves had been removed from the entire lawn. All three gentlemen respectfully thanked me prior to leaving. I was very pleased and plan to enter into a contract to have Jim and his team take care of my lawn this season."

"We were quite happy with their timing. They did everything they said they were going to do. Everything worked well. We noticed that the concrete driveway that they did was starting to have a few problems later on with something called spalling where little bits of the surface was chipping away. They called their cement supplier. They basically told us that we have to deal with the cement supplier if we wanted to do anything about it. That was my only negative thing. Otherwise, they have been totally positive. They were very responsive. When they did our chimney, they even went out of their way to mount a new television antenna up there for me. I thought that was nice of them. They mounted the mast and all that stuff, and didn’t charge us extra for it. They did it as a favor. We were just fine with all the pricing for everything they have done compared to anybody else we looked at. I have a little bit of a question about the driveway because of the bit of a problem with the spalling on it. I found out about spalling later from an expert who is a friend of ours, who did it for the city of Baltimore. He said that there were treatments they might have been able to use that they as a city use. I am not sure if the contractor was even aware of the technical issue of that problem."
