"The Design consultant, Andy die a great job explaining the product and options for the tub to walk in shower conversion. The installers, Ian and Christian did an outstanding job on the installation, completed in approximately 8 hours! Great job guys!"

"I must begin by saying that I am a very demanding person. I believe LR deserves an overall A+ rating, not because they are perfect, but because in the context of the work, they did an outstanding job. I needed to renovate 7 bathrooms in a luxury investment property I own in Atlanta. I personally don’t live in Atlanta so I needed to select a vendor who could complete the project in a timely fashion and without requiring my presence. Although the sales process started kind of bumpy but I could see the potential in them to do a good job. Christina who led the sales phase was a wonderful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable lady. As the face of the company she had a lot to do with giving me a sense of comfort to go with them. However, the numbers in the proposal did not always make sense to me. As a former corporate executive, I was used to reviewing many contracts and managing many vendors, so by habit I would go through the proposal with careful attention to the numbers. I would find minor discrepancies here and there which created some tension between us. But we got over that step and finally reached agreement for them to do the job in about 2.5 months. In the implementation phase the project was led by Jeremiah, who was a pleasure to work with. He was customer focused and had the right attitude. He was not there to argue with me about little things here and there and tried to accommodate my desires throughout the project in a reasonable way. He appreciated the large project I had given them and wanted to keep me happy. The team on site, in charge of doing the work, was led by Peter. Peter and his team did a SUPERB job. I cannot say enough good things about their work. It was truly remarkable! They showed up consistently around 7 am and put a full day of work 5 days/week. I never had to worry about chasing them to show up. Peter took such a pride in his work that I did not need to worry about checking his work while I was not in Atlanta. I would return to town periodically to check the progress and I was always pleased by how fast they had worked and the quality of their work. I have several properties and I have had to do a lot of work in those properties over the years. This was the first time that I truly enjoyed watching the work without any headache. One of the best early decisions I made was to purchase almost all materials myself. Generally speaking, the work material was provided by them but I provided all vanities, tiles, fixtures, mirrors, chandeliers, sconces, etc. That way I could be in complete control of the quality of the materials. I chose to get 3 of my countertops and sinks from them. The countertops are beautiful and very nicely cut and installed but the sinks are kind of small. I should’ve paid more attention to their sizes. If I were doing it again I would buy larger sinks. After the project was completed I had a house cleaner clean the bathrooms and all of a sudden I had a leak in the ceiling under one of my baths. Peter came back and checked the work & claimed that the leak had nothing to do with his work & showed me a picture of another pipe where he believed the root of the leak was. I found that hard to believe but there was no point in arguing with them since they willingly told me that “though it was not their fault” they would fix it for me. Jeremiah had a great attitude about it and had Peter fix the problem. In my opinion the best way to judge a vendor is how they react to the problems, especially after they have already been paid. Many people are responsive while they want to get paid. But doing the repair without charging me, with a positive attitude, after they have received their last payment, is the sign of a vendor I can trust! Overall, LR is a first-rate vendor. Lance has built a company that runs like a well-oiled machine with structures in place to ensure everything goes smoothly. I must add that they are not cheap and their price point is higher than many other vendors. But if you want high quality work with minimum headache and a vendor you can rely on, I strongly recommend them to you."

"Purchased the coupon I think in Jan 2014, but we didn't get started on the work until Apr 2015.  I got busy with work and travel, but because I stayed in contact throughout the months, they continued to honor the coupon price.  Yay!  Dwight was accommodating and went a bit above by meeting with me several times and enduring more than one design change.  He and his wife, Stacy, were very helpful in assisting me with the color and material choices.  The early days of our cooperative design weren't perfect, in that I sort of struggled to understand exactly what the pieces I ordered looked like.  I got a better feel when I actually drove out to their showroom/staging facility.
The installation was performed by Matt rather than Dwight.  There was a tiny bit lost in the transition, as the deep sink I wanted to keep got tossed during the demolition.  They made up for it by giving me credit to purchase a new sink.  Beyond that, the installation was impressive.  The crew was friendly, professional and highly skilled.  I omitted a few thing in my design, but the team was able to design-on-the-fly once we got to a point in the kitchen - and more especially in the mud room -  that wasn't fully planned for with my self drafted computer aided drawing.  We turned a mud room cubby holder into a kitchen wine rack.  Nice flexibility.  Great fit and finish.  Cleaned up pretty well afterward too. And it was a mess in here, but you'd never know it after.

"Excellent! Derrick's crew were top-notch professionals--punctual and concientious ! They went the extra mile to clean up and protect the work area. Derrick insisted on installing a protective liner to prevent future issues with shower. We would definitely use their services again."

"Larry was very timely in his response and quick to send an estimate. He was very thorough in his explanation of what was necessary to fix my home. He also matched the color of my other pillars in the front of my home perfectly. A neighbor even came over at the end of the repair to get a estimate on some work for his home! Thanks, Larry!"

"Beaver did an excellent job on my bathroom renovation. They repaired pre-existing structural problems and also gave the inside a really beautiful face lift. Mr. Jhony and team were so pleasant to work with in addition to doing beautiful work. I'm very pleased and would hire again!"

"We were very please after our kitchen renovations were done but we did not consent to pictures of our kitchen being placed on line. Within the 3-year warranty, we had to contact Pedro, the owner several times concerning a pipe under the sink that was leaking and the microwave vent. After the three-year warranty was up, he was non-responsive. We left several messages on the companies’ voicemail and sent numerous emails concerning installation of new appliances. During the process of having new appliances installed, Lowe’s informed us, that our water line was not up to code and the microwave was not measured correctly. Therefore, as a result of the waterline not being up to code, the refrigerator and dishwasher could not be installed. I do not recommend doing business with Hdez Cabinets. Thanks TR"

FAQs for walk in tub installation and replacement projects in Fayetteville, GA

Because Medicare classifies walk-in tubs as non-durable medical equipment, it generally won’t pick up the tab. Medicaid can help if a doctor certifies that the tub is medically necessary, but rules change by state. Call your plan early, ask which forms you need, and keep any prescriptions or letters on file to improve your odds of reimbursement.

A walk-in bathtub’s fill and drain times hinge on your home’s water pressure and the tub’s hardware. Most models with a fast-fill faucet need about six to eight minutes to fill and two to three minutes to drain; larger basins or standard drains can tack on an extra 10 minutes. Stay seated until the water is completely gone so you don’t swing the door open on a full tub’s worth of water.

A walk-in bathtub holds 50 gallons of water, and its design supports capacities that range from 40 to 80 gallons, depending on the product. In contrast, a standard bathtub holds 25 to 45 gallons. This capacity is determined by the fixed design of the tub and its construction materials. Homeowners should review the detailed product specifications to confirm the exact volume available for use during bath time.

Walk-in tubs are tax-deductible when the purchase qualifies as a necessary medical expense and meets the IRS criteria. Caregivers who install a walk-in tub also qualify for the Dependent Care Tax Credit under specific conditions. Homeowners must verify these requirements with the IRS and consult a tax professional, as state and program guidelines enforce strict documentation standards for such deductions.
