He used a jet wash high pressure water spray wash that cleaned out the interior drain.  He also sent a camera down the sewer line to check and see the rest of the drain. In addition, he gave me the advice on what to do with the sewer line and I thought that was nice of him to do that."

In this case we had just at our water main changed which cause sediment to clog fixtures and kill water pressure. "I was at the apartment building I owned and was notified by a tenant while I was there that a pipe was leaking in the laundry room. This was on 3/8/2010 around 6pm in the evening. I contacted Alan while at the apartment building. He had a job he was doing that evening so swung by the building on his way to the other job to put a temporary patch on the pipe so it would hold. He scheduled me in for the following week (3/15/2010) and accomodated my schedule since I was going on vacation the next day. It took approximately 1 hour to do the repair. He cleaned up after he was done and the piping is in great shape now. The total charge for both visits was $150 total. I own multiple apartment buildings & rentals and have used Alan on multiple occasions (5+ times), including installing a water heater in my own home. I will continue using him based on my experience with him in relation to price & quality of his work. I have used other "A" plumbers on Angie's List and find the price of other plumbers is very high for the amount of time they spent doing the job. Alan is more reasonable in regards to price. Alan charged me $175 for another plumbing repair job based on a quoted estimate over the phone where another plumbing had provided a quoted estimate of $425. Quality and pricing are Alan's Plumbing strong points. Because he is a one man shop though, he is very sensitive to his schedule. Sometimes he can be hard to get hold of because he takes his own calls and if he is really busy with a plumbing job, he will not pick up his cell phone while in the middle of his work. He will typically get back with you that day though (and most times within a couple hours) from what I have observed in our relationship as plumber and landlord, which is fine by me. Also, because he is a one man plumber, sometimes he can get backed up. He might give you a time of 10am to be at the job and be there around 11:30am. That had happened on this particular plumbing job. I would give him a window of time based on the time he tells you. Expect a 2 hour window around the time he gives you. Most plumbers will give you a window of time anyhow. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work that Alan has provided so far and will continue to use him on my own home and rentals. I have used other plumbers on Angie's List that were "A" report plumbers and stopped using them due to issues involving the prices they charged and the ultimate quality of their work. Alan has been the plumber I have stuck with. Again, he may not pick up the phone right away so leave a message and give him a 2 hour window from the time he tells you. If you are fine with that, he is a good plumber."

"Paramount showed earlier than the designated time. Which was just fine with us. They steam cleaned the affected area and scotch guarded the area as well. I happened to notice on the side of their van that they cleaned tile grout. They were willing to do it while they were here on my polished limestone bathroom and shower stall. The guy was friendly and professional and efficient!"

"They did a great job.   Our waterline was replaced in less then a day.   Other contractors wanted to cut through our porch or take out our driveway.    I would recommend Henry Exc. to anyone who needs a waterline replacement.

"The man was very professional and fixed the dripping faucet in no time. He gave us a new faucet ($15.00) , was here only 40 minutes and the total bill including labor was only $54.88.  I will definitely call him again.

"Lou and Bryce showed up at the time that was discussed. Lou was very polite and professional. He gave us his professional opinion as to what was happening. Last year, we were told by another company that our leech lines had collapsed. Since replacing the leech lines was not an option due to county regulations , we could have been looking at replacing the entire septic system. If we would have had have a new septic system, it could have costs us between $20K-$30K. Lou said he couldn't be sure but he could surely find out what was going on. He called Aaron, he brought out a back-hoe the same day, dug up the area between our septic tanks and distribution box and discovered it was the line between our tanks and distribution box that was clogged solid. We, also, found out the leech lines were working fine. They pumped both our tanks, dug up and replaced the clogged line, put a riser and lid on the distribution box and refilled the hole. We've lived in our home 3 years and have used 2 other companies when we have had issues. Hopefully, our septic issues have been resolved for a while but if anything new arises, we will be calling Aaron/Andrew's Septic."

"We live on a hill with an acre of woods behind us. The main drain line goes down the hill into the woods behind our house and there is a sloping steep path to get down to the area that needed repaired. Initially, we had another company come out to clear the drain. They discovered the stoppage was due to a break, which they thought was in 2 sections, one before the exterior clean out and another past it. The one section past the clean out also had a large fallen tree laying across where it passed. they gave us an estimate of $3800 to repair. I joined Angie's list and looked for other companies that would give a free estimate and found Trinity Plumbing. He came out the same day I called and gave me a much more affordable estimate. The day he was to begin a cold front with high winds and rain was moving in and he called and said that Sunday was suppose to be sunny and warmer and he would come then at no extra charge. Later that day, the weather had settled and he called and asked if he could come by and dig around a little to evaluate the situation. He worked for over 2 hours digging in the suspected locations and said he found the problem, and it was one break, not two, but the breakage ran under the area where the tree had fallen and that section of the tree would need to be removed before he could start. He asked if we knew anyone with a chain saw who could do it on Saturday so he could start on Sunday, I told him I would check around. before I could get any calls made, he called back and told me he had a friend who would do it Saturday morning for $100. He worked over 6 hours on Sunday in the cold and mud, hand digging( the hilly wooded area made it almost impossible for any large equipment) a 20 foot trench and replacing the old broken clay piping. It turned out to be a bigger fix than the spot fix of his original estimate and it was a $1000. more. but still over 1000. less than the other company, who would have charged more once they got into the work due to the extensive damage. After he left, we noticed things were still not working properly. I called him and he said it was probably still clogged closer to the house from all the former back up, but said he would be out first thing in the morning to check. He came as promised and after checking all the system, he told us to have the company come back to clean the upper drain pipes because he felt sure there was still a stoppage closer to the house that they had not properly cleared and since it was under warranty, they should come back for free to do it again. He said to tell them to remove the toilet to do it for the best access. He did this on his own time. Armed with this information, the company came back and did another cleaning at no charge, removing the toilet for better access, there was indeed a stoppage that they had missed. Our system is working like a gem now. Rodney of Trinity acted more like a doctor and our house was his patient, he called a couple of times to check on whether the other company had cleared it or not. He was at all times polite and always informative, taking photos to show us the breakage and the huge roots that had stopped up the lower drain due to the breakage. He is now my official plumber and I highly recommend him to anyone.

"Extremely well! I used Jason Griggs and his small but scrappy crew to repaint the interior of a home I sold just prior to purchasing this new home. They did a tremendous job for me then, at a reasonable price, so I enlisted them for this larger, more difficult job. There was wallpaper to be removed and painted over, numerous drywall repairs, caulking, and generally a lot of prep work before the actual painting could begin. They also had to work in two different phases -- prep and paint the rooms that were not being remodeled, and wait for a couple months while other rooms were being remodeled, then come back and prep and paint those rooms. All in all, this spanned a period from October to January. They did their usual outstanding job! I am so happy I was able to secure their services again. Jason is a former engineer who pays keen attention to detail. He really takes pride in doing a high quality, thorough job and will do whatever it takes to walk away with a satisfied customer. He has a great customer service attitude and often agrees when you point a blemish out, saying they will quickly take care of it. He and his crews are very trustworthy. They earned my trust on my first job at the old house -- I let them come and go as they needed, while I was away at work. Same in this case; I allowed them full rein of the house, and did not do anything special to put things away. They really are that trustworthy! It's nice when you feel that trust with a service provider. They do quality work, aren't happy unless you're happy, will do whatever it takes to make you happy, treats your home and belongings with respect, and makes you feel like you're the customer and you come first! I cannot recommend them enough. If I were you and need some painting done, I'd call The Griggs Company. I know I will contact them for all my painting needs in the future."
