"In performing my due diligence, I contacted---or attempted to contact---about 5 countertop vendors. Some wanted me to come in and talk with them - they did NOT want to come out to see me any my area of work, which was my kitchen that I was totally remodeling.. Nathan was quick to call me back and set up an appointment - around my schedule. He was prompt and brought actual samples. We talked about countertop options....I had wanted quartz, but we ended up with granite and am I glad we did. The next step was to go and pick out the granite. I took a colleague from work and we had a blast! The lady there was extremely helpful - lot of good choices, but with the floor sample and color scheme I had with me, I was able to choose a slab that had a unique pattern (later became part of my 3 x 5 island). A man came out and laser measured everything.....I was present and was concerned that I hadn't had all my appliances installed yet. No problem. On the day of the actual install, Nathan and crew took less than a day to remove the old C-Top, install a new garbage disposal (I had bought), a new granite sink and the new C-Top and Island (I had built). I came in from work to review and pay the balance. When I walked around the corner, I was totally blown away....WOW---It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! It was better than I expected!!!!We settled up and I complimented him for his attention to detail, cleanup and overall positive attitude. I would highly recommend Nathan for his high quality work. "All projects were completed with beautiful results. Their masonry division and pavers division both employ professional, seasoned crews who are assigned to the project with experienced foremen. With all of the projects there was meticulous care taken with the work, and they communicated with me about matters that came up along the way. The company was very easy to work with in negotiating the agreement, reviewing details, and getting responses to various questions along the way. There was a small group of stones, intended for capstones on a wall, that were not of the quality of the other stone, and they replaced those for me. Dan (masonry division & company) and Marty (paver division), division managers and senior managers of the company, offer careful review of their respective divisions' work and of the overall projects, and clearly care about their customers. The onsite foremen (John - masonry) and Rob (Pavers) were very careful with the details and the progress of the projects. They brought a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm to the work every day. In one instance a section of the drive wasn't to Rob's liking, and they pulled up that section and redid everything. They were careful to adjust the angles for drainage on the driveway, and were attentive to details that a lesser company might not pay attention to. They will purchase the quality of pavers/stone requested by the customer, and the Unilock pavers I chose to have installed both look beautiful, and appear to be durable also. They were attentive to protecting my home from construction dust, as I had requested, covering windows and doors in the vicinity, and cleaned up well after their work. I had a landscape design created for the overall plan for renovating the exterior of my home, and they comfortably worked with that design in establishing the dimensions of the various paver projects. I thought that the front area and driveway would look very nice as planned but it looks even better than I had hoped. Neighbors, and even the mail carrier have commented upon the awesome work; it is nice when one's neighbors can also enjoy and appreciate the results of a home project. Early in the planning stages I was deciding upon whether I was going to use HiCon's services for this work or another contractor. What tipped the balance was some advice from another contractor I had working at my home, who has had occasion to see HiCon's work over time because of the work that they do; their comment was that they thought I should contract with HiCon because their work is excellent and really holds up over time. Where this other contractor might see a more amateurishly constructed patio start to show signs of wear after a few years, the HiCon structures they have had occasion to see are often there many years later, still in good shape. I couldn't be more pleased with the work."

"From the moment we walked into the showroom to the minute that I said goodbye to the people that installed the counter tops, I had nothing but great interactions with everyone involved with Pure Granite and Stone. A family owned company that truly has a love for this work, everyone that we encountered was enthusiastic about the work that they were doing. Even down to the gentle way it was put that we would have totally messed up if we put a drop in sink in our granite. They were patient, helped us walk through the entire process picking out a granite we're happy with, and we never felt like we were being sold anything. Skip the big box retailers. This was to repkace the flooring, add a couple electric lines, run a waterline across the floor to new fridge, install new cabinetry and paint the walls! Bob"

"The main drawback was that they did not call me ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. They showed up 45 minutes later than they said they would. The price was okay. They need to call the customer and let them know whats going on before they show up."

"Potter House Group managed all aspects of the restoration and dealt with the insurance adjuster and ourselves as needed.  They arrived on time each morning and completed the job far ahead of schedule.

As I write this, six months later, I really can't think of a single issue that wasn't resolved to our complete satisfaction. The areas in the cottage that had been damaged are now in much better condition than they had been, even before the incident."

"I called an received an initial quote over the phone.  Upon receiving the quote, I arranged a time for a representative to come out to my house to verify measurements and to provide me with an official quote.  The representative did not show up due to "being tied up in traffic."  I re-scheduled the appointment for the very next day and the representative did not show up nor did he call.  The next day I left a message with the company requesting that they give me a call to re-schedule the appointment.  The company did not return my call.
