"There are always businesses that stand out from the rest, and that describes Foothill Painting very well. After seeing their excellent work on a neighbor's home, as well as other positive reviews on Angie's List we contacted them for a complete repainting of our house, including a detached three car garage and some interior walls and trim. From the very first meeting with Kevin, one of the co-owners, we knew we were in good hands. All their crew members are regular employees, not sub-contractors. One painter told us that he has been with Foothill for eleven years. The estimate was detailed and professional. They not only painted... They also did quite a bit of stucco and window glazing repair. The prep work was meticulous. What we appreciated the most was their attitude that they would do whatever it took to make sure we were satisfied. Too bad so many businesses don't understand the value of that! Also, they were very careful when moving things out of the way and the cleanup was great. We're sure that there are some other painters who would have submitted a lower bid but, as always, you really do get what you pay for. "They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."

"I'm very satisfied with the work. Miguel's bid was much lower than the other two I got and he did a very good job. He protected the non-construction part of the master suite well and cleaned up afterward. His English is not perfect but we communicated well enough, and he is a pleasant person to work with and always acted very professionally. I was away during some of the work and the medicine cabinet was installed at what I considered to be a non-standard height. When I returned and pointed this out, he came out and fixed it without a hassle and at no extra charge. I gave him an A for quality but if there had been an option for A-/B+ that would have reflected my experience more accurately. I felt that he could have done a bit better on smoothing the transition between the new and old baseboard and on making the gap between the edge of the new door and the frame more even from top to bottom. Overall, though, it was very good work at an excellent price and I will definitely call him again for future work."
