"<p>Problem:  Drain was clogged.</p> <p>Solution:  The issue seemed so simple.  The issue was fixed last time by cutting the tree roots in the line.  The technician was patient in getting that fixed, but it did not remedy the problem.  He then worked on the inside clean out and again to no avail.  The process required finding out a very unusual plumbing setup in the basement that required some pipe work.</p> <p>Everything was done in good time and the technician was patient even though things clearly were not going as smooth as they should.  I have used Jacks for my residence as well as my business and have been pleased with the service and always shocked by the great rates.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"The owner of the company does much of the work, but there are other employees as well, they have all been very polite and professional. The owner arrived right on time to do the furnace inspection, and took the time to answer all of the questions we had about our heating system. We have had plumbing problems (a broken water line in the crawlspace), a water heater that died, and a furnace inspection done using this company. They are easy to work with, good with punctuality, and their price is usually among the lowest quotes. They go above and beyond the necessary repairs and make sure that you are happy with their work, at the time of service and after. We have been very pleased with this company."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Findlay, OH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
