"The owner of the shop showed up right on time and completely rebuilt the unit, positioning the gas logs much better than they had been. He eliminated the battery-operated remote and its unit and replaced it with a turn on/turn off knob. He was very neat and there was no residue when he finished. The overall cost would have been less except for the new parts."

"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"

"The man from Delta Mechanical Inc. was very forward on the extras needed. Like most people getting a new water heater installed I was taken by the new 4'' vent pipe code.I also thought when I purchased the waterheater through the toll-free number that the hot/cold connectors or(dieletric unions) were included in the installation price.Who would use the old ones for a new water heater? I called Home Depots toll-free number and told him that those should of been included. But despite the total cost, I am happy with my new waterheater. The installer Chris B.(Delta Mechanical) was very professional and answered all my questions."

"Highly recommended, would absolutely use them again! Aaron Hinzman and his team built a new 500sf 2nd story Trex deck for us, in the dead of winter, and it is absolutely stunning. If you’ve ever worked with contractors, you’ll find an entire spectrum of personalities and workmanship. It is always a risk to take that leap of faith, and we’re grateful we found Michigan’s Best Deck Builders. Our story: Aaron came over to give us an estimate and scope of work. He was incredibly meticulous and methodical with his quote and sketch from the start. He answered all of our questions with confidence and he was very calm (not salesy/pushy). We continued to take several weeks to obtain 5 additional quotes from other deck builders in the area. There are some great ones out there with big names, flashy marketing, and superstar type-A personalities, and competitive “we’ll beat any quote” pricing, and they all made us feel very comfortable, no complaints. He was on our job every day and built our deck himself, with his own dedicated crew. That said, his quote was not the cheapest, but we unanimously chose him as he was incredibly reliable and the service quality was meticulous from quote to finish. That’s not something we found to be common these days; and if you’ve had to deal with chasing contractors, you’ll value reliability and quality over all. The deck is beautiful and the experience was absolutely stellar."

"Slow but the outcome was fantastic. We gave Kevin an idea of what we were looking for as far as look, layout, functionality, etc. He came up with initial sketches which were pretty close to what we had in mind. We made some minor modifications to the plan, and then got started. We had to do quite a bit of site work with utilities and excavation, which resulted in multiple delays (most of which were out of Kevin's control). The workmanship on the garage is very good. Kevin consulted with us on every detail of the project - layout of the driveway, stone on the exterior, roof & paint colors, lighting options - and gave his opinion on what would work and not work. Kevin's stone mason is amazing! The garage came out looking exactly like I pictured. I would work with Kevin again on any home project. <br />"
