"We hired H&O Garage Doors back in 2021 to fix a busted spring on one of our garage doors. They came and fixed everything promptly. No issues thereafter. 2026: We had to replace a garage door for my mom and we decided to use them again for this new project...and I'm so glad we did. Mordi came the very same week I contacted him to look at the work that needed to be done and gave us an estimate. The price was not cheap, but Mordi gave us a discount in end. We accepted and they were able to come the very next day to replace our 1940's garage single door and install a beautiful insulated one with remote opener. JR recommended a torsion spring slightly longer than the original installed by the builder. The reason was that the original had snapped after only three years, and while it could have been defective, the thought was that a spring slightly larger than that recommended by the manufacturer would create a better system. He also explained to me that there was no reason to replace the other at this point and that there would be no future savings in the case I did, that I would be charged the same now as later since the second diagnostic fee would be waived. Angel performed the installation. The consummate pro, he was extremely careful and exacting in all aspects of the job. Naturally, he made certain that the tension for both the new right torsion spring and the old left torsion spring was the same. A line is drawn across the length of the torsion springs so that the rotations can be measured. Angel also answered my questions as he completed the different stages of the work. I highly recommend Angel and JR. $350: an RHS-mounted torsion spring (225 30" 2") $75: diagnostic Tax Total: $460.00"
