Jim and Brandy arrived at the agreed date and time for the installations, which took about 3 hours.  Jim supplied some of the pipe fixtures and connections and the drain strainer I bought didn't fit so Jim supplied one. The fixtures look great and it is a welcome change to not hear a dripping kitchen faucet.  Jim said to give him a call if anything was not operating to expectation.  We are very happy with how it all turned out.

"After trying to solve a drainage problem with another plumber (who in retrospect was clearly trying to rip me off), I called Laporte. They made it out in a timely manner. I had two issues and he was able to resolve both within a couple hours. The first was the one I had the other plumber out for, who had immediately jumped to the most expensive option to try and solve it. Laporte suggested an easier, much cheaper solution first, and that worked right away. The second problem was more challenging, but he worked through ruling out causes methodically, starting out with the easiest and simplest solutions. For example, while he thought it might be necessary to run a camera, he kept this as a last resort and in the end we didn't need it (as opposed to the other guy who immediately wanted to charge me $350 for a camera first thing).
