"First of all, this guy is a certificated ARBORIST! He knows trees!  This was very important to me.  I didn't want "some guy with a chainsaw" to tell me the trees had to come down.  
After looking over the trees and their location, he told me that the trees would continue their secondary growth and that growth would push up the pavers in the yard, and even if the pavers were reinstalled the secondary growth would push them up again over time.  He gave me some options to consider.
He is based out of central Orange County and because of distance, he declined to do work in Bellflower which was disappointing.

"Called add and made appointment. Aaron arrived gave a price for Monthly gardening service. His workers showed up when promised However after the first few times it doesn't appear they spend enough Time on the plants. Had to actually stop the workers and ask them To trim bushes that were badly over grown."

"George emailed me two days beforehand to setup a time. I give him a two hour window that worked for him. He came promptly at 8:30 am, Monday morning, 11/28/16, and left at 12:30 pm. He came inside with his toolbox and started right away on assembling my two small tables. They have been sitting in a box for over one year. George also installed some 3 doorknob sets but needed to make adjustments with the door frames so two doors could close properly. He also installed much needed rack on my bedroom door to hang all my dog leashes and harnesses. The window covering hardware in the Master bedroom was changed out also. "Some plants do not grow well in the depleted soil around my house so it has been hit and miss to find out what works.  Ernesto experiments with different types of plants so we have had some successes - unfortunately they were plants i dont care for like lilies and plants that are mainly a bunch of fronds.  We haven't been as lucky with the ones I do like.  He did plant a lemon tree (fruit bearing) and an orange tree (fruit for one year, waiting for more) that i am happy with.  
My main tree is always trimmed and all the dead leaves are removed from plants.  He comes when I am at work but we will have to make time to discuss things to be planted next.  I was very pleased when he took it upon himself to repair a broken lock on a door to my garage.

"Chris and his team at Rare Earth Systems did an amazing job on my back yard.  I never thought I would post a review about anything, but other people need to know about this guy and his crew.  Chris is honest, his crew is incredibly fast and he saved me a lot of money.
We found mildew underneath our downstairs carpet and needed it fixed. Turns out  it was a drainage problem that needed to be addressed. We called four or five different contractors in to give us an estimate on lowering our back yard 10 inches,  creating drains and piping that would run into the street, installing pavers, adding an irrigation system, laying sod, running a gas line and building a fire pit. Chris and rare earth systems came in way cheaper than the other contractors and his time frame was 3-4 days compared to 7-14 days from the other guys=no brainer.  I had my doubts about the the time frame considering how much work was to be done, but Chris and his crew were awesome and completed all of it within 4 days. 
Chris went above and beyond my expectations. He helped us save money throughout the whole process.  He did this by sharing his experiences with picking the correct materials,  talking us out of overspending on something that was going to need replacing in 10 years,  and creating a beautiful functioning backyard that will never need replacing.  
If you are looking to get the most bang for your buck on your house from honest people then Chris and rare earth systems are your people. Thanks Chris!"

"Otero landscaping installed two trees on our property, did some leveling, prepping and sodding, also installed a sprinkler system, and some slope landscaping in three different areas around our house. Most of the slope landscaping did well, except for one area that did not do so well. They returned to see how they could fix this one area but it just never took. It may have been that we have really bad soil in that particular slope among other factors. We are very happy with the sod/lawn that they installed using a new designer sod: RTF. It is self repairing so if we get brown spots from the dogs, it will grow back in in a few weeks. This grass also grows fast. The trees are a palm tree and a shade tree in the back. they are also doing well. They also installed a railroad tie wall around the new lawn. We were pretty happy with the work. The job was originally supposed to take a week, but ended up taking two weeks. Of course we also kept adding more work to the original job. The owner if very nice and willing to fix anything that the customer is unhappy with or wants do to differently than the original plan."
