"I love my new garage door and so does my dog Watson. It took some time from ordering it to having it installed, but it was worth the wait. Justin is a very friendly guy with great attention to detail. I would recommend using his company to all!"

"The door came in the wrong size at the first install, so had to wait a bit longer to get the correct size in, but it all turned out great and they threw in and outside keypad for the trouble. Love my new garage door..."

"Service was performed, tried to sell me a new garage door. Did sell me a garage door opener for $50 which is $15 over normal cost, but saved me a trip to Home Depot."

"A few days ago my garage door became inoperable. I called Brace Yourself. They responded immediately. Miguel scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time. Identified the problem, explained in detail what he needed to do to repair the door. Miguel did an exceptional job. He was professional, communicated well, courteous, proficient and efficient, skillful. He completed the job in thirty minutes. I will recommend him to anyone that is looking for a superior handyman. "I could not be any happier with the service provided. Isaac contacted me within hours, came over to evaluate the repair of my garage doors. He provided me with a very reasonable estimate. I hired Copper State Garage Door immediately. The repairs were done quickly and professionally the next day. Both doors are now working perfectly. I highly recommend this company for any garage door repair."

"We got a bid for replacing garage door motors/belts/rollers, then put the project on hold for several months. The initial bid process was pleasant - Ben, the technician, gave helpful suggestions without pushing an agenda. I felt he was honest and upfront about pricing and seemed genuinely invested in the process. When I called back to finally schedule installation, I asked if I needed to get a new bid. I spoke to Mark, the owner. I told him I had my original bid, and he offered to honor the original pricing! I scheduled an appointment for a few days later. And the technician who came out to do the job was Ben (the same guy who had done the initial bid months earlier). It says a lot about a company when there is employee retention. Ben got everything installed and tuned up the existing doors in a timely manner. He cleaned up his mess. He was polite and professional throughout the installation. We have had the new openers for several months, and everything works perfectly! I would not hesitate using Always Open again or referring family and friends to this company. I always feel loyalty to family-operated businesses that show this level of integrity."

"The garage door torsion spring system was changed by, A1 Garage Door Service, a few days earlier. When the door was released for manual operation, it flew up. The door should be balanced. The Advanced Garage Door technician, Joey Batters, said that he could not adjust the door with the spring that was installed. If the force was left so high, the door could buckle and break. He needed to change the spring from two springs to one spring. I had this done and he made corrections to the rest of the installation.

Now, my garage door works as it should. From my experience, I had the best and the worst Company work on my garage door. Advanced Garage Door Service has a "Super Service Award" from Angies list and deserves it. "

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Fort Mcdowell, AZ

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
