"Me and my mom went to one of their homeshows so we can find someone who can remodel our pool and backyard and we happened to stop by their booth. One of the sales man (Joel), gave us his business card and we signed up for the free estimate. The project took some time but the outcome was amazing! Our backyard looks like a resort and we can't wait for summer so we can have our famous family BBQ. I recommend anyone who wants to go into business with them. It's all worth it!"

"Starting with my first phone call...Rick was very responsive, came out and gave me a quote on the spot (after measuring),  He worked on a tile to give me an idea of what I could expect in terms of results and took the time to educate me on the various types of tile we have in our new home.  His team, Jobe, Moises and two others worked for two days in our home.  They carefully masked furniture, carpet, etc. to ensure their procedures did not damage anything.  They worked hard for two days and the floors look great.  Jobe left instructions on how to care for the floor and a bottle of cleaner to use.  I will definitely call them back for annual clean-ups. <br />"

"Kyle measured the areas and gave us a fixed price quote at his first visit. A few days later he 'phoned to give us an installation date a few week out. He followed up to give us schedule of existing grass removal, root killer application, curb installation and ultimately the grass. It was installed on the exact date it was scheduled. All workers were very courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after them. One of the jobs in my life that went perfectly and to the original price given. My son had used Kyle prior to this. I would recommend them to anyone. Their price was lower than the previous quote from another contractor."

"Paul did a beautiful job installing ceramic tile to match the and quot;diamondand quot; pattern in my kitchen and dining room. He was prompt in returning my calls and working to schedule the work as quickly as possible. The job was difficult due to the installation in the other areas with plan for carpet only in the living room. He explained the challenge of the installation and how he would accomplish the work. The result is stunning. He is definitely the and quot;perfectionistand quot; he says that he is! He then cleaned and sealed the tile throughout my home. I will contact him for future tile and stone work projects. <br />"

"The new porch looks great!! There was a fair amount of demo work that had to be done and then the new work - Bob and his guys built a nice sitting wall and they were able to use some of the existing breeze block from the old porch and incorporate it into the new design. We went with pavers on the ground, and the guys were very careful to make sure that water would drain off correctly. We also had a small flower bed built in front of the seat wall. It turned out fabulously! <br /> Bob was very responsive to phone calls and had good design ideas. His crew was nice and professional. <br />"

FAQs for gravel or loose fill paving install, spread or scrape projects in Fort Mcdowell, AZ

To calculate how much pea gravel you need for your project, multiply the length, width, and depth of the area you want to cover to find the volume in cubic feet. Then, divide that number by 27 to convert it to cubic yards to determine the amount of pea gravel you need.

A yard of pea gravel weighs about 1.3 tons or 2,600 pounds. Keep in mind that wet gravel weighs more than dry, and different types of gravel can vary in weight. For example, due to its density, river rock weighs significantly more than crushed stone and pea gravel.

The ideal depth for pea gravel depends on the type and size of your project. You'll need at least two to three inches for walkways and patios and a minimum of six inches for driveways to support heavy vehicles and prevent shifting over time. Aim for a depth of three to four inches in decorative garden beds or drainage areas.

Pea gravel is attractive, versatile, and low-maintenance. It provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for pathways, driveways, and garden beds. On the downside, its sharp texture isn't ideal for bare feet, and it can be challenging to weed or remove once installed. It can also shift underfoot without proper edging, creating an uneven surface.

Alternative landscaping materials you can use instead of pea gravel include wood chips, decomposed granite, crushed stone, pebbles, quartz, mulch, sand, and river rock. These materials offer different aesthetics, performance, and costs, so it’s important to do your research to determine which one best fits your landscape design and budget.

Many homeowners choose pea gravel because it requires minimal upkeep compared to other landscaping materials. You'll need to rake it occasionally to redistribute the stones and maintain an even surface. Pros also recommend installing weed barrier fabric beneath the gravel to prevent unwanted growth, although some weeds may still appear over time.
