".I want to revise my June 10, 2016, review of Sweetwater Pool in Naples, FL due to subsequent developments. That review was prompted by an email I received from them on June 1 billing me $150.73 for repair of a problem with my new pool/spa that I was totally unaware of and had not authorized. That repair should have been performed by the builder under warranty at no charge. I sent emails to Sweetwater Pool complaining about this on 3 consecutive days -- June 1, 2, 3 -- but got no response.I went to Sweetwater Pool on June 21 to discuss another pool/spa issue. At that time, I asked why they had not responded to my emails. It turns out that Sweetwater Pool's email system had been crashing intermittently on both the sending and receiving ends during the period in question. Apparently, they had emailed me on May 26 to inform me of the pool/spa problem, but I never received that email. Likewise, they did not receive any of the 3 emails I sent them, even though those were listed as having been "sent" when I checked my computer. Because their communication on June 1 had been by email and I was still getting other (unrelated) emails from them, I had no reason to suspect there was a problem with their email system. However, once this all became clear, Sweetwater Pool promptly refunded the above-noted bill in full.I have never experienced a similar type of problem in the past, but this shows that it can happen. The take-home lesson is that if you want to make sure someone gets an important message, it is best to do it by phone or in person. That way, you know you have actually been in contact.I upgrade Sweetwater Pool to a "B". Once everything was explained, they promptly refunded the above-noted bill in full. Sweetwater Pool's email system malfunction, which I was unaware of, resulted in them not answering my emails. However, had they initially called to tell me about my pool/spa problem and realized that we are probably still covered under warranty, the builder would have taken care of the problem and my reviews would have been unnecessary."
