"We could not be happier!  From the first meeting with Maxim to our final walk around it was evident that his company was the one to go with.  His crew was filled with very talented craftsmen and men that took pride in their jobs.  They all worked with one goal in mind and that was to have a satisfied customer that loved the finished product. 
The roofing crew was at our home for 2 days in miserably hot weather removing the old roof and installing a beautiful new dimensional shingle.  When they left you could not even tell they had been there, all the debris and left overs were gone and the finished result was fantastic.  We had made the correct color choice and the job was first class!
Next came the siding, trim and gutters.  We had decided to have the existing cedar removed and start from scratch.  The lead on the siding crew, Choung, is very talented!  It was like an artist at work watching him "mold" and "crimp" the trim, giving our home a custom look.  Our home had numerous edges and small detail areas that were definitely a challenge for the crew and they rose to the task.  Before the crew left they had hung our new light fixtures, new storm door and shutters!  We had a new house!
The hardest process was picking out the color for the siding and the roof.  Both we knew would be permanent so we had to be sure.  Maxim was never one of those "pushy" salesmen and was very patient while we figured out the color selections.  He was a delight to work with and we are very confident in recommending his company to anyone that is considering this type of work at their home.  Our neighbors are still stopping by to "check" out his work and compliment us on the job well done.
This was a major expense for our family and one that we couldn't be more pleased with."

"Great experience with RIBA from start to finish. After looking as several choices I worked with Rich determining the type of windows that i needed which would work best within my budget. I had several choices of trim and Rich helped me decide the best color that would accent my brick home. I was given a date to expect delivery and installation. Because rain was foretasted and potentially would push the installation, RIBA worked with me to store the windows in a more convenient location in my back yard where they would be out of my way. Rich assured me that his crews are very trustworthy; since I couldn't be home on the day of installation, I really had no choice. RIBA is bonded & insured. When I returned home all of the windows were in place. I noticed shoes by the door; they took them off as not to mar or soil my hardwood floors & carpet. I didn't ask. When finished they cleaned up...everything. The window quality was exactly what I ordered; the trim work was over & above what I expected; excellent work. I met with Tom Green and explained what I was interested in and he provided me with a quote for installing a new GAF Timberline UHDZ roof. "Exceptional Service from JW Home Improvement – A Review Worth Writing Let me start by saying I hate writing reviews, but after the service I just received, I felt absolutely compelled to share my experience. A few days ago, that dreaded moment happened. Our garbage disposal finally gave out. With four daughters, a wife, plenty of spoons, and after years of loyal service, it had officially met its match. I had tried finding quality and trustworthy people and did what anyone would do—asked family and friends. That’s when I remembered JW Home Improvement doing my parents’ deck. They had nothing but great things to say about the experience, so I gave JW a call. After a few frustrating calls with unreliable handymen, I called JW Home Improvement and spoke with James Hinton, who promptly scheduled Jesse and Josh to come assess the situation. Thank God I did. Jesse Wertjes and Josh Metz came out, assessed the situation, and gave me three different options at varying price points. That level of transparency and choice immediately built my trust. With a full family in the house, I opted for the Cadillac of disposals, one that can apparently grind chicken bones, which feels like a necessary feature at this point. From there, Angela Redd, the project coordinator, called to schedule the installation. When our appointment day arrived, so did a snowstorm. Impressively, Angela let me know the tech was still willing to make the call. I chose to reschedule because I didn’t want anyone driving in those conditions, but the dedication spoke volumes. On the rescheduled day, Weldon Harris, the office manager, personally called me in the morning to update me that the technician, Fernando, was running a little behind due to another job taking longer. I didn’t mind at all because the communication was spot on, which to me is one of the most important aspects of good service. When Fernando arrived, he introduced himself and immediately got to work. Everything was smooth until we realized the manufacturer had provided the wrong power cord. Instead of cutting corners, Fernando ran out to Home Depot to get a heavier-duty replacement. That kind of attention to detail blew me away. And the service didn’t stop there. Janice Chuck in billing made the payment process seamless, taking care of everything right away. Later, Luis Molina even followed up to ensure the entire process had gone smoothly and asked if I’d be willing to leave a review. Absolutely. This was my first time using JW Home Improvement, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’m already scheduling an estimate with them for a bathroom remodel and kitchen cabinet revamp. If this is how well they handle a garbage disposal install, I can only imagine how smooth my remodels will go. JW Home Improvement isn’t the cheapest company I spoke to, and I didn’t pick the cheapest option, but I got exactly what I paid for. Top-tier service, communication, and quality workmanship. "Work was high quality. The job took a while to get started because they were backed up just like all the other local roofers due to a large storm that damaged many roofs in the area. Once started they finished in one day and cleaned up well. Unlike several other contractors that provided me estimates, John Krause construction did not inflate their prices to take advantage of the market conditions. I feel like I was charged a fair and reasonable price for the work performed, using upgraded architectural shingles instead of 3-ply and also installing water/ice shield and drip edge as per latest building codes. Some of the other contractors wanted to just go over the old shingles rather than R&R and charge me just as much!"

"My townhouse is over 25 years old and still had the original builder roof. I started thinking about replacing it since a few of my neighbors had their roofs replaced mainly due to a recent storm that blew shingles off their homes. Being a super busy homeowner, I haven't had the time to even think of it so I put it on the back burner until... Michael Anthony arrived at my house to talk to me about replacing my old worn out roof. Our discussion detailed HCR ‘s roof replacement system - an education for me since all I thought was the old shingles were taken off the roof and new ones stapled on. Let me tell you roof replacement with HCR is not like that at all. Michael explained each step of the system to me. First, the old shingles are scraped off the roof. Then a 2mm barrier shield Is layed over the plywood sub roof to keep out moisture, and then the shingles are nailed on - three nails per shingle. This, he told me, would anchor the shingles so that in case of high winds they would not blow off. Did I tell you about the warranty? My new roof will not give me any worries for at least 25 years and it is transferable to a new owner of my townhouse should I ever decide to sell it. Oh yeah, if a shingle does blow off, they will come and repair it. Peace of mind! The HCR crew was very professional. They started scraping the old shingles off just as soon as they arrived at my job site. After all the old worn out shingles were off the roof, the fun began. It was amazing to me to watch a crew member swiftly carry each package of shingles up a very tall ladder to the roof. By the time all the packages were on top of the roof, the barrier shield was laid out. Then each single shingle was laid down and nailed. After all shingles were in place, the crew cleaned up the debris in my yard and in my neighbors’ yards. My new roof looks amazing! Michael contacted me on the day of the install to check on the progress. All went well! I now have a very beautiful roof that I don't have to worry about replacing for at least 25 years. When you see an HCR representative in your neighborhood, talk to him. You will be glad you did!!"
