The scope of work included digging, old sewer line replacement, installing a back flow check valve to prevent future city sewerage backup and refill and level the dirt back to grade. John was very careful and considerate of the landscape during the work with minimal disturbance to the area. He was very efficient and professional from the project scope, quote, schedule and project completion. "Choice was fast, efficient, and kept me posted on the progress of the claim. Although the water leak issue was discovered on a Friday, they had a plumber there to investigate by Saturday morning. When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. I am glad that we opted for the Choice Ultimate plan as other than the initial $65 service fee, all but one $50 ancillary expense was covered."

"I called them for my outside faucet and my toilet both were leaking. He was very honest and told me I needed to replace my toilet because my tank through and hey could not help me. H then looked my faucet up and gave me a price to replace. They replaced it today. Their quote was the lowest I received and least amount of time. He replaced it in under 15 minutes everyone else was quoting 1 1/2 hours and almost $300 dollars. Very nice young man. Helped me to set up my hose correctly as I just had shoulder surgery and let me water the flower bed while he completed paper work. They also called three times because the other job was running longer than expected! I will use them again. My dad always took care of these things now he is unable it is nice to have a reliable service."

"We were able to come to terms on 3 bathroom painting projects.   Overall Dave is very responsive and punctual.  He definitely shows up when he says he will and that goes a long way.  Finish on paint is ok, but not the best.   I think that his dry wall work is very good and prep is pretty good.   Overall contractor I would give a good rating or a B.  Definitely not as bad as some of the contractors we have utilized so maybe with the market so busy he would be acceptable and does decent work for the price.   He definitely finishes his projects as well.   Overall B experience."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"We had pipe and drains that were old - from the 1950's - and needed to have them looked and and replaced in our bathroom.  We were doing most of the demo and replacement of the shower/tub - and as we did we found some issues with the pipework.  It looked like it was worked on by the privious owner of the house - just not very well done - and was too short and a bit crubly in the jointings.  Since it was already messed up we decided to have a proffesional come and fix it and bring it back up to code.James Eggert came over, on time, and was very neat and clean as he assessed, quoted and repaired the pipes.  He was quick, proffesional and matched the quote.  We had our pipes fixed and reworked in about 3 hours and it was so worth it.  The old pipes and lines were a mess!  I'm planning to use James again when I need to redo my kitchen."
