"After going back and forth with a few other companies, I called and spoke with William. He and his team are some of the most sincere, and caring individuals that Iâ ve had the absolute pleasure of working with and meeting. William and his team werenâ t trying to sell me anything, they were only concerned with making sure me and my family was safe. The results came back from an accredited, independent laboratory and they even called to go over the results with me. Theyâ re so kind and passionate about making sure that you are confident and comfortable with the results and findings. They treated my home and my pets like they were their own, you can tell they love their jobs and that means the world to me with my situation."

"Jessie came a week earlier to estimate the problem and cost. He was punctual and thorough in the entire process. He and Tim cleaned out the mildew and moisture and cleaned up after resolving the issue so that my contractor can come to fix the leak problem. They were above and beyond polite and worked fast to keep the area controlled. Sanitized everything again before leaving. I would use them again and highly recommend them."

"A&E was a pleasure to work with. When you deal with a part of the house flooding/receiving water damage it's already very stressful and concerning. There's stopping the leak, fixing it, getting the water out, possible mold outbreak...all of that stress was taken away once I found them. They handled everything seamlessly and professionally at a very reasonable price. I would 10 out of 10 recommended them again and again. I really appreciate everything they did for my home and family!"

"I would recommend this company for asbestos abatement. I was very grateful that they were able to help me in such short notice to remove the asbestos when another company did not show. I thought their price was pretty fair and was told by the mold testing company that they do good work. I would not hire this company to do anything else. I was in a bind and got a quote on what it would be to mud and paint the ceiling and paint the house. I was very very unhappy with the quality of the work of the painters he hired. I feel I should have been deeply reimbursed or discounted because the paint job was so bad. They got plaster everywhere on my kitchen cabinets and are unable to remove it so I must just look at it. They did not replace some of my lights and there are cracks in the seems and every worker I have comments on how bad the paint job is. Very dissapointed that I spent so much money for that. They came out to try and fix it and it was not even fixed. Maybe a little better on the ceilings. It was extremely hard to get the electrician that I hired through them to come up and finish the job here in Charleston. I believe he lived a few hours away and everything was just a headache. He was unable to find a certain part and I ended up having to research and find it online. We lost at least a week while he was looking for that."

"After reviewing Angie's List and obtaining other quotes, I chose Emory Young with Mold Stoppers of Greenville because of his knowledge of the issue and his detailed explanation of the processes and products available to resolve it. The quoted price was very similar to other quotes received, but my level of comfort with Emory's professionalism and thoroughness during the initial inspection and quote process was a significant factor in selecting him for the job. He spent no less than an hour under the house doing a thorough inspection and provided numerous photographs to help explain the problem and what needed to be done to resolve it. Because of the thorough assessment, there were no surprises or added costs at the completion of the project. Emory had two guys on staff who did much of the work, but he also spent considerable time under the house doing the work and ensuring the job was done correctly. The job took several weeks to complete but I was not on a timeline and told Emory that from the beginning. The crawl space has very low clearance and is choppy so I appreciated the extra time he and his crew spent to make sure they did a thorough job. After everything was cleaned and encapsulated, he installed a commercial dehumidifier and condensate pump. Emory also identified a small leak under the master bathroom and some issues with the duct work under the house that we would not have known about. I highly recommend Emory Young if you have any mold or moisture issue. <br />"

"The report was very professional and detailed. The response was fast. The price was expensive but due to the detail, understandable. I wouldn't hire again due to multiple requests for a completed report and estimate for the mold remediation and just getting robotic replies that didn't answer my questions."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Fountain Inn, SC

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
