"Dale was very thorough in his examination of my situation and gave me clear explanations of what was going on. Other firms that quoted the work insisted that the entire basement needed to be done. Dale said that we only need to fix what is leaking. Cost to do that was one third that of other bids. Crew was on time, prompt and thorough. I would definitely use this firm again."

"These guys did a fantastic job. We had some significant sinking on our driveway and were listing the house for sale. They came out and fixed everything up marvelously. I could not believe how smooth the driveway was when they finished. Would absolutely work with them again."

"This is one of many one star reviews. I had read the poor reviews and hesitated hiring this company. I went against by best gut instincts and hired them because they had been recommended by a friend. I had two slabs of concrete that needed to be leveled. My friend had told me that the company charges about $200 per slab, which obviously would cost me about $400. I was convinced by the owner to do the entire driveway from the garage to the street for $1,000. I accepted the offer. My driveway looks absolutely terrible after the work was completed. I have 55; yes 55 three inch diameter holes in my driveway. The holes are so far off from matching my original concrete. My driveway looks like Swiss cheese. I now have at least four huge cracks in my drive. I had one small crack before the job that is now so large that it runs through three concrete slabs. It is not level. My driveway, which is not long, is the eye sore of the neighborhood. When I called to say that I was unhappy with the 55 holes in my driveway and the cracks, I was told that the holes are impossible to match and that the cracks were caused because of the poor grade of the original concrete. I ask for some type of refund. I was denied. I now can prove that that the cracks were caused because the holes are too close together. This was information came for another mudjacking company. I can say that my telephone calls were returned promptly. The owner, crew and office manager were all polite. I am now looking at paying thousands of dollars to replace my entire driveway."

"Lee's team of insulation specialists did a phenomenal job of spray foam insulating a very, very small crawl space in our home (as well as some boxsills). We have had several construction professionals in our home recently, as we are considering a major renovation to our house, and they have all commented on how well done the job is, and how amazed they are that insulation specialists were able to access such a small space. The team arrived on time, did their work quickly, and the administrative team was very communicative, personable, and kind. We'd highly recommend Duerst to others!"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Franksville, WI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
