"Maxim Naftchi (owner of Fox Creek) came to our home as scheduled to have a look at what we wanted done.  He arrived at around 5 pm and stayed until close to 11 pm.  His routine includes taking rough measurements, drawing detailed sketches of the house along with pictures, measurements and other notes, and presenting the potential customer with actual samples of siding and windows (miniature scaled) and finding out our likes, dislikes and cost budget limits.  By the time he left, we had a final written estimate and a very detailed preliminary contract.  He was very low pressure, paid attention to our likes/dislikes and made great recommendations. <br /> There was a couple of weeks delay in getting the job started while the products we ordered were being shipped, but Maxim's crew went to work as soon as all of the materials were staged on our property.  We had been under the impression that there would be several different crews working on different tasks, but all of the work was completed over about 3 weeks (it rained a few times during this period) by just two carpenters.  The only exception to this was a separate crew of around 5 or 6, who put on the gutters & downspouts (in probably an hour) and returned the next day to install gutter covers which they'd forgotten the day before (for all of about 20 minutes).  Freddy and Harold (the primary crew of two carpenters) took longer than we expected (since we were expecting a larger crew) but much shorter than what one would expect for only two workers,  All of the trim work was custom bent and cut meticulously on site,  The first day they were here they replaced every one of our 17 windows and the front door & sidelights, and nearly all sealed. Because the siding work had to be delayed every time they reached a window, light fixture or outlet for which trimwork was to be bent, cut and installed, it was a little painful having to look at exposed Raindrop (tyvec) on the house for so long, but the finished product was every bit worth the wait.  The exterior of our home was completely transformed and we're 100% satisfied with the transformation.  We feel that the total cost was reasonable for the job performed.  We'll try and attach a "before and after" picture to this review once we figure out how to do it."

"Exceptional Service from JW Home Improvement – A Review Worth Writing Let me start by saying I hate writing reviews, but after the service I just received, I felt absolutely compelled to share my experience. A few days ago, that dreaded moment happened. Our garbage disposal finally gave out. With four daughters, a wife, plenty of spoons, and after years of loyal service, it had officially met its match. I had tried finding quality and trustworthy people and did what anyone would do—asked family and friends. That’s when I remembered JW Home Improvement doing my parents’ deck. They had nothing but great things to say about the experience, so I gave JW a call. After a few frustrating calls with unreliable handymen, I called JW Home Improvement and spoke with James Hinton, who promptly scheduled Jesse and Josh to come assess the situation. Thank God I did. Jesse Wertjes and Josh Metz came out, assessed the situation, and gave me three different options at varying price points. That level of transparency and choice immediately built my trust. With a full family in the house, I opted for the Cadillac of disposals, one that can apparently grind chicken bones, which feels like a necessary feature at this point. From there, Angela Redd, the project coordinator, called to schedule the installation. When our appointment day arrived, so did a snowstorm. Impressively, Angela let me know the tech was still willing to make the call. I chose to reschedule because I didn’t want anyone driving in those conditions, but the dedication spoke volumes. On the rescheduled day, Weldon Harris, the office manager, personally called me in the morning to update me that the technician, Fernando, was running a little behind due to another job taking longer. I didn’t mind at all because the communication was spot on, which to me is one of the most important aspects of good service. When Fernando arrived, he introduced himself and immediately got to work. Everything was smooth until we realized the manufacturer had provided the wrong power cord. Instead of cutting corners, Fernando ran out to Home Depot to get a heavier-duty replacement. That kind of attention to detail blew me away. And the service didn’t stop there. Janice Chuck in billing made the payment process seamless, taking care of everything right away. Later, Luis Molina even followed up to ensure the entire process had gone smoothly and asked if I’d be willing to leave a review. Absolutely. This was my first time using JW Home Improvement, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’m already scheduling an estimate with them for a bathroom remodel and kitchen cabinet revamp. If this is how well they handle a garbage disposal install, I can only imagine how smooth my remodels will go. JW Home Improvement isn’t the cheapest company I spoke to, and I didn’t pick the cheapest option, but I got exactly what I paid for. Top-tier service, communication, and quality workmanship. "My townhouse is over 25 years old and still had the original builder roof. I started thinking about replacing it since a few of my neighbors had their roofs replaced mainly due to a recent storm that blew shingles off their homes. Being a super busy homeowner, I haven't had the time to even think of it so I put it on the back burner until... Michael Anthony arrived at my house to talk to me about replacing my old worn out roof. Our discussion detailed HCR ‘s roof replacement system - an education for me since all I thought was the old shingles were taken off the roof and new ones stapled on. Let me tell you roof replacement with HCR is not like that at all. Michael explained each step of the system to me. First, the old shingles are scraped off the roof. Then a 2mm barrier shield Is layed over the plywood sub roof to keep out moisture, and then the shingles are nailed on - three nails per shingle. This, he told me, would anchor the shingles so that in case of high winds they would not blow off. Did I tell you about the warranty? My new roof will not give me any worries for at least 25 years and it is transferable to a new owner of my townhouse should I ever decide to sell it. Oh yeah, if a shingle does blow off, they will come and repair it. Peace of mind! The HCR crew was very professional. They started scraping the old shingles off just as soon as they arrived at my job site. After all the old worn out shingles were off the roof, the fun began. It was amazing to me to watch a crew member swiftly carry each package of shingles up a very tall ladder to the roof. By the time all the packages were on top of the roof, the barrier shield was laid out. Then each single shingle was laid down and nailed. After all shingles were in place, the crew cleaned up the debris in my yard and in my neighbors’ yards. My new roof looks amazing! Michael contacted me on the day of the install to check on the progress. All went well! I now have a very beautiful roof that I don't have to worry about replacing for at least 25 years. When you see an HCR representative in your neighborhood, talk to him. You will be glad you did!!"
