"It has been over a month now since James and Jerry came and repaired my boggled attempt to install a new garage door opener. I installed the opener on a Saturday and, the install was fairly easy, but the door just did not work right. The door would catch and sometimes get tweaked, not come up all the way, or go down all the way. I called Precision on Monday and was talking with an extremely pleasant and professional scheduler. She asked if they could come out the next day, Tuesday, and I explained that it would not work with my work schedule. She then explained that they have evening appointments, and that they have an opening for 5pm Tuesday. I booked the next day appointment. About 30 minutes before the appointment I received a call from James that he was on the wat and should arrive in about 15 – 20 minutes. Upon arriving, James introduced himself and Jerry, a training technician. After showing James/Jerry the new garage door opener installation and a visual inspection of the door, James (and Jerry concurred) that the problem was the spring. Based on the age, they also recommended that I replace the rollers with newer “nylon” rollers. They wrote up the contract and started the work. Less than an hour later they had replaced all parts, had the door opening and closing and started on “optimizing” the new opener setting the travel, adjusting the belt and setting the stops. They also showed me how to lubricate the moving parts. The total repair took about 2 hours and the door has NEVER work that effortlessly or quiet! James and Jerry were the epitome of professional and knowledgeable! The company needs to video these guys and use it as a training video for others. I cannot come up with one negative from this experience starting with the call to the repair service to the follow-up email asking if everything went well! "The electrical cord did not reach the outlet box so I have to use an extension cord to operate the door opener. Tech said that if an inspector looked at it that this would be illegal Wondered why the motor was installed in this matter. I paid, I believe over $800 for substandard work. Now I need an electrician to correct the problem. I'm not satisfied with this job."

He replaced the screw, adjusted the door opening height very quickly. he also showed ne how to deal with the single garage door opener light cover which would not stay attached and kept falling. Cost to repair was 1/3rd the cost to fully replace and modernize a 20 year old garage door so we decided to replace and get a insulated, ultra quiet and wifi enabled assembly. The company was able to come the next day and fully install. They were polite and efficient. I would recommend them. I have no data to corroborate but I suspect they are at par or maybe 10-15% more expensive if I had gotten multiple quotes, however the experience (timeliness, efficiency) seemed worth it to me."
