"Sam and his crew were outstanding from start to finish! Sam's son, Lavern, was great on keeping us informed along the way. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to do an addition to their home. They also did a great job on reroofing entire home. The new garage addituon looks like it was built when the house was originally built. Great quality work and attention to detail! Outstanding job and a job well done!!!!!"

"We had a second story bedroom with a sloping floor. Mike replied quickly to my request for a quote and started the job soon afterwards. The subfloor needed replacing and joists leveled, so it was a big job. His friendly crew did a great job and fixed other issues they found. Mike made sure we were satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend New Vision. "

"I have used John and John three times now and have been very pleased with every aspect of each visit. They were on time, were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and worked very hard to fix the problems.  In addition, they cleaned up after the work.  I appreciated how they answered questions I had.  I also appreciate their not spending any time telling me how horrible our plumbing is and trying to sell us things! <br /> It's hard for me to rate any plumbing charge "excellent" - so I gave them a "good."   However, I think their prices are quite reasonable in comparison to others. <br /> I will definitely call on them again for any future plumbing problems."

"Guys showed up as was told by Jimmy. I was worried about the integrity of my brick foundation being compromised being a hundred years old and having no footer. So salesman Andrew said guys will break up the concrete floor, lay tile, and concrete one wall at a time do it may take 3 days to complete job. I liked their drain tile the best out of the companies that came by and his answer to preserving my brick foundation. So I hired them I was a little shocked at the 40% down to get scheduled and started seeing how many bad contractors are out there ripping people off. But I paid the 40% and as advertised guys showed up 3.5 weeks later to do the job. Guys finished in one day which was surprising to me because salesman Andrew said 3 days to make sure brick foundation was cared for but that didn't happen. Guys cleaned up after themselves, when done collected payment and explained warranty info. Quality of work was good details could have been better or more crisp like the application of cleanspace to wall wallintegrityand lip board that will catch any water running down wall.I would hire again as long as my brick foundation maintains its integrity. And so far no water in basement. <br />"

"<p>During torrential rain we had a leak around the vent pipe for our furnace. Scott from Old Fort Roofing put a new 'boot' around the vent pipe on the roof ($165) and that significantly reduced the leak.  However there was still a small leak during the next rain.  Scott returned and replaced the flashing and shingles around the vent pipe ($525).  That repair stopped the leak</p> <p>We had difficulty finding a roofer who would come to Decatur to assess the leak and we were very happy to find Scott at Old Fort Roofing.  He came to the house, assessed the problem, and performed an immediate   repair.  He also assessed the vent pipe in the attic and advised us to remove the wet insulation around the pipe and let the area dry out to prevent mold.  When the leak persisted Scott returned for a more complete repair.  </p> <p>Scott called after the next hard rain to make sure the repair had finally stopped the leak.</p>"

"Complete tear off of old roof and gutters on home. Replaced with new roof and 6" gutters and downspouts. Reworked gutters that were attached wonky and better placement of some downspouts.   Also replaced old gutters on detached garage and used 6" gutters to replace.   Eric was the most professional contractor we have worked with. He was very timely in responding to all our emails.  The crew was pleasant and very efficient. They were all mindful of plantings around the home, and Eric said if there were any plants damaged and didn't come back, he would replace them. (We don't think this will be the case!) We have other jobs to get done in the future and would definitely call Eric for a bid and would use him again! Thanks, Eric!            Oh Eric!! Sorry we forgot to submit this review (We thought the other one did it!) It does give me a chance to update and let you know that we have had downpours, snow, ice and heavy winds without any incident!  The larger gutters handled the runoff from our high pitched roof perfectly and they are easier to clean. Thanks again and sorry it was late in coming!! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Fremont, IN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
