"We were getting very frustrated about trying to get someone to fix this toilet. A similar repair some years ago cost about $150,
but the new super in our building said this repair would cost about $400! We considered it....then logged on to Angie?s List.
Rapid Repairs referred us to a plumber near to us and he arrived that afternoon. He assessed the problem, left to buy the needed part and fixed the toilet when he returned. The bill: $160.
We were so grateful for the speedy, efficient help we got and highly recommend this company.

As a single woman running my own home and being very particular.....it is extremely important to be able to discuss the job, hear all the details, and employ someone who is honest, honorable, well qualified, neat, and highly informed. I first hired Rob for the drain problem. He accomplished that efficiently and neatly at a reasonable price. We discussed options for a back up for the sump pump. Having a finished basement, I am always concerned about water. I have never lost electricity during a rain storm....but the possibility always takes up space in my brain. I have a portable generator....but I have to be home to start it. Today Rob arrived on time and installed the back up for me. It took the whole morning as he predicted. Oh....one more thing...he noticed a leak in my fairly new furnace exhaust piping. He pointed it out and gave me several possible reasons for the leak so I could intelligently discuss it with the company that installed the new energy efficient furnace. What else could you want from a plumber? I was extremely satisfied and impressed with his service. I'm also grateful for Angie's List!!!!

"The project included an extensive scope including the installation of a full bar/kitchen, full bathroom, , framing of several rooms, mechanical/electrical/plumbing tie-ins, lighting, wood flooring, shelving, installation of two sewage ejection pumps, and audio/visual components. "Mark did a fantastic job of installing the new dishwasher. I'm in a 70-year-old building, with 35-year-old kitchen counters. Getting the dishwasher to fit into the space and run properly required a lot of imagination, and Mark figured it out. He's a professional and his work is excellent. While he was working on the dishwasher, he also upgraded some of the kitchen plumbing, so now we're in great shape. He's a real professional!"

"Our drain was backing up. He came out same-day, about 3 hours after we called, was meticulous, asked a lot of questions to figure out where the lines were coming from and where they were going. Went into through a clean-out and spent a good amount of time getting everything out and clearing the blockage. Very friendly, informative, and experienced, would definitely hire again."

"John and his team did a great job! My wife and I was worried about a water mark on our dining room ceiling and we thought it might be coming from our shower stall in our small master bathroom. So we decided to might as well redo that bathroom. It's not a big master bath. They removed the existing shower stall and replaced the two walls with white tiles and pebble rock stones on the floor. They also installed a shower glass inclosure. New ceramic, dark grey tiles for the rest of the bathroom was also installed as well as a new vanity. As for the existing toilet, they just reinstalled after the remodeling. We supplied the materials for them to install. Great job and would hire them again!"

"Frank Tedeschi and his men did an amazing job. The buffet had sustained substantial damage, both to the interior (drawer and frame crushed by an unsecured heavy shelf board) and the exterior (multiple scratches and dents, and two drawer faces that required replacing). Frank went to a great deal of trouble to match the wood that needed replacing, and the repaired and refinished piece looks as if it had never been damaged in the first place. We are more than delighted with the result! Frank and his crew had previously done a great job stripping and refinishing a large mid-century book/display shelf for us."

"Bruce was very responsive: he offered to fit my job in on the same day I contacted him, though I chose to wait for another day/time. He kept me posted about his arrival time, and he was fast, competent, and neat. He installed replacement parts that are of far better quality and easier to use than the ones he removed. Best of all, he completely explained what he did and what I needed to do in the future, and he reviewed my notes with me to be sure I got it right and recommended I call him if I had any questions. He didn't blink when I asked to add in another small job, and his price was very fair for the amount of time he was here, the work involved, and the parts he installed.
