A&W worked directly with our home insurance company to verify the full cost of the roof replacement and that it would be fully covered under our insurance policy. The roof was replaced in one day. Their was a minor issue with the quality of the fascia that was replaced on one side of the house but it was resolved satisfactorily in a timely manner. "GCS did an excellent job executing a pretty complicated project. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. The bid that Dennis provided was very detailed and thorough. He came by several times to take measurements and ask questions about our intentions and goals for the project. He also had his electrical and HVAC subcontractors contact us to gather information about the project. It took about two weeks for the bid to be completed, which caused us to get a little impatient, but the final result was far more complete and thorough than any of the other bids we received. The cost was also very competitive. Work started soon after we signed the contract. Dennis did a very good job of coordinating the the tasks, including bringing the various subcontractors to the site in a timely manner, and within about 6 weeks we had the foundations poured and the basic framing done on the 8'x10' kitchen addition and the 16'x20' 1st floor bedroom/basement addition. Dennis' team were receptive to the changes to the plan (there will always be changes to the plan) that we asked for. The changes were documented, invoiced and priced reasonably. There was a lot of inside work to perform, so that took another 3 months or so. Insulation, drywalling, drywall finishing, carpet removal and installation, removal of the old kitchen cabinets and appliances, etc. Again, Dennis did a good job of scheduling the various specialists to come in and do their thing. Dennis was very responsive to any issues or concerns that came up through text messaging or by phone. Problems: Main issue was that the pace of work in the middle of the project was slower than we would have liked. This was mostly an issue with one individual worker. Overall: We are very happy with the results of the project and would recommend GCS highly. Attached picture is of the kitchen interior just prior to completion. It is exactly what we had envisioned."

"My insurance adjuster referred me to Premier Restoration after a pipe burst between my first and second floor bathrooms and extensive pipe replacement was completed. It was such a relief to hand over the rebuilding work to them.  My initial contact was Jeff, who did a great job first of providing explanations of the process and then of coordinating the project, following up, trouble-shooting, and supporting me when I had questions or concerns.  Scott and Giovanni were a terrific work team--hard-working, good-humored, and trustworthy.  Special praise to Scott, who did such a beautiful job on the 2nd floor bathroom--including installing a new tile floor and rebuilding most of the drywall--that it now feels positively spa-like in there.  He is an amazing craftsman.  I really appreciated everyone at Premier Restoration who helped me out during a difficult time and on a complicated project like this one.

"Mr. Hoover did a great job.  He was out of town when I initially e-mailed him, but he replied to my e-mail and let me know when he would be back in town.  He contacted me when he returned and set up an appointment for the next week to give an estimate.  He was punctual and professional.  We scheduled the repairs to be done the following Monday (patching) and Tuesday (texture and paint, after previous day's work had dried).  I like that he gives an hour window for his arrival time rather than expecting us to be home all day or even all morning.  He worked with my schedule since I pick up and drop off at two different schools.  Again he was very professional and did a fantastic job!  As a side note, he is also very patient and understanding.  I failed to tell my four year old not to touch in time.  Fortunately, Mr. Hoover had not left yet and was very kind about coming back in to retouch the spot.  When I had our son apologize, Mr. Hoover told him it was alright and he probably would have done the same thing at that age.  From a mom's perspective, that was priceless.

"The timeline was the biggest problem.  The time it took contractor to finish the project was nearly 2.5 months from start to (almost) finish, with a single bathroom in the house. During this time, there were 2 holidays (Christmas and New Year's) and some days of inclement weather which would have prevented anyone from traveling (~3 in all). However, there was one entire week that I was on travel and returned to find zero progress had been made in that amount of time.
The original estimate was $2,500 for labor only for the bathroom. There were additional items that surfaced throughout the renovation which added scope to the project that increased the labor to nearly $3,700. I provided all material for the project.
Contractor requested milestone payments in advance of work being completed, to include final payment, which was made with promise from Contractor that he would return to fix minor "nit-pick" items, which never did take place. I have had to perform those items myself.
Contractor would set tools in bathtub and on top of porcelain toilet, which resulted in scratches in both. In retrospect I would have requested him to place pads down.
Contractor also did not lay down anything to protect the floors in the house from outside elements that were brought in on his boots (snow/rain), and that was then mixed with debris and dust from  the construction. This made it extremely difficult to clean the floors.
Overall, the bathroom looks nice. When looking in detail, however, once can see where craftsmanship/attention to detail is lacking due to a rush to complete the project.

"Their were quick and efficient and done in about 10 minutes. This was a repair job to some siding that had blown down from extreme high winds two years after the initial job was completed. "Curtis called me back right away and had come for an estimate before any other company had even called me back. He was very good about communicating with me and had the work completed within one week of my call. We haven't had a huge rain since the repair work was done, but all looks good and I'm confident that the leak is patched. "Work started May 14, 2015and was completed in late July. We found Wade and his crew very easy to work with. Wade personally checked daily on progress and regularly communicated with us about any changes or delays in scheduling. The delay in completion was the result of the rainiest June on record and an unexpected problem getting the color decking we had selected for the porch. Wade researched and presented an alternative color choice close to our original selection for our approval ? we are very pleased with the new color choice. The decorative sidewalk turned out beautifully and is a nice focal point for our house. We are very happy with all the landscaping and the multiple stone garden walls. Wade added several additional features from the original plan that have enhanced the appearance of the landscaping.
Wade was genuinely interested in producing a result with which we would be happy. He regularly stopped to make sure we were satisfied
with the way things were progressing and that we had no problems with the work. He quickly responded and resolved problems we had with a latch on the fence and railings on the deck. His crews minimized any mess related to the work and promptly removed remaining materials once work was completed. Working with Wade and his crews has been a positive experience.
