Rather than remove and replaced, I was pleasantly surprised that the existing broken slab could be elevated back up to the original position, then a simple resurfacing could then be done. My issue was rain water that I have now mitigated. The cool thing was that a brick retaining wall sitting on top of the broken slab also elevate to its original position, Simple mortar work will make it all perfect. These guys are legit. Hats off to Levi Woods who came out to see the need, then provide some education of the AFS process and ultimately an estimate, as well as Matthew Martin and Parris Houchins who did the repair. "Elliot and his crew showed up as scheduled. They had some difficulties with the old slab being so porous, but worked through the day to get it right. The color came out great, but the gloss layer did not last. After discussing this with Elliot, he stated it was most likely due to the very old and porous slab. Elliot and his crew came back to the house, re sanded the floor and put a thin top layer on the slab. He stained and sealed the floor with a high gloss finish. He did all this at no cost to me and the final product came out great."
