Randy was very collaborative and responsive as we refined our requirements and specifications. Once we committed, Deck Builders helped us with the County permits and our HOA submission. The two person crew, Baldemar and Miguel, were phenomenal. They worked incredibly hard in very hot conditions and always answered our questions and inquiries as they were doing their work. "Rick and his Before and After Home Improvement “All-Star Team” provided outstanding professional work in replacing the water damaged posts supporting my deck and the design and work to complete a stamped concrete patio, walkway, and front porch. Our property sits on a hill such that water from our neighbor’s yard drains into our own with some of it settling against our house under the deck. The deck was constructed about 20 years ago with part of the wooden posts buried in the ground. Although the wood was pressure treated, over time, the marshy ground had compromised the integrity of the deck support posts. We had contacted several contractors to request proposed estimates. Some were unresponsive. Others would not fully address our concerns about correcting the water drainage and adding additional concrete to anchor the new deck support posts above ground. Rick was by far, the most responsive. He listened to our concerns and based upon his 45+ years of experience, provided several recommendations for correcting the damaged deck posts and the drainage issues on our property. He gave us a prompt and reasonable estimate. His team went to work right away. We were so pleased with the results that we discussed the idea of the patio and walkway. Again, Rick listened to our ideas and provided excellent recommendations to move us to a beautiful design. Upon contract award, Rick’s team went to work immediately. Rick himself visited the site on a daily basis and communicated with us on the progress. When we suggested some changes, he was very flexible and responsive. "Had a great experience doing a bunch of jobs around the house that we had put off for too long. Thomas and another gentleman whose name i forget came for a couple days and they did a wide range of things we had asked them to do- fixing two doors that haddnt worked, replacing and painting boards on our porch, fixing a handrail, etc etc. While they were here they noticed a section of shingles were coming down and they were able to fix that quickly. They did it all very professionally, swiftly, and good quality and humor. It feels like a new house - i wish we had them come sooner! We're definitely going to have them do more work in the future."

"They are hit or miss but certainly better at roofing than anything else they do.  I had them install a new front door at a cost of over $6000.00 which was custom and his guy measure the door opening incorrectly so they had to modify the opening.  An install that should have taken a couple of day took a week.  They sealed the roof on my bump out and did a great job.  Depends who comes out to do the work and he is not cheap.  If you have a roof job than they do well otherwise find someone else.
