"Building during covid and hurricane threats are experiences in themselves. Isaac from ISC Construction was only a phone call away at any time. Building comes with a lot of ins and outs and we always found reasonable back up plans during the problematic times. Mostly due to hurricane building requirements. Make sure you get your pricing locked down and expect the 15-20% extra costs at the end for building as we did. One thing I wished he had would be a building supervisor. The property was far enough to be an issue when certain contractors were there. Maybe he’ll hire me !! A big plus is that he is bilingual and can communicate with the workers. This helped tremendously. The build itself is amazing. We love our house. He helped us find the lot and build! He always says he’s a one-man shop! Ha!"

"Wolf in sheep's clothing. Do not use for any project. Terry comes across as a nice Christian guy but all he cares about is getting his money. We lost 90% of our 3500 sq/ft home to water damage and hired him because he came across as caring/understanding/knowledgeable. I can list over a dozen issues from poor project management, to cheap work, poor communication, false expectations etc... but I wont for sake of time. Feel free to call me or email me and I will tell you everything, share photos (contracts & documents) and you can even come to my home & see the work. In the end he is putting a lien on our home and we have hired a lawyer because he says we owe him money for he never did and for work he never completed. "These guys were fantastic. They are one of the few companies out there that that actually do what they say will do. They send you daily emails around 830 am describing the activities for the day and who will be inside your house. Their communication is great - they always answer emails and texts in a very timely matter. The master bathroom we had remodeled looks great and was done in the time period they indicated at the beginning of the process. Sure, you could probably find someone cheaper and does inferior work, however we wanted it done right the first time. Nic and Sarah and the entire team exceeded our expectations!"

"The work took over a week when I was promised the painting would be completed in 3 days. The workers were late almost every day and there was an excuse each time (hardly ever an apology). One of these days, the workers did not show up at all and I wasn't given an explanation. I explained my frustration to Julio and he told me, "I don't have to tell you anything." Another instance was when he was scheduled to pick up 1 of the workers from my house around 4 or 4:30 and he didn't show up until almost 8:00 PM. I expressed my frustration to Julio and he basically just said he was sorry and left. At this point, I had paid him half the money and just wanted my house completed before Christmas. After the work was complete, there was paint left on my carpet, tile floor and some of the areas of the house still needed to a second coat of paint. Julio did come out to the house twice to touch up those areas, however, there are STILL areas that need to be repainted and paint is still on the floor. I would not recommend Custom Remodeling due to their lack of professionalism and sloppy work."

"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."
