"Work was generally of high quality with some minor painting issues. Arthur Jackson did an excellent job of analyzing problems unique to the house and proposing and implementing effective solutions. Floor replacement and refinishing work was particularly well done."

"Great! Ricky was very helpful. Very courteous and very open to our needs. His crews were professional. They did their work meticulously and cleaned up after themselves. They were on time and showed concern for our convenience and need. I was very satisfied and pleased with the work they did and the quality of the materials and workmanship."

"James was hired to fix another contractors work on a home we had just purchased. The originally hired contractor was given an empty house to perform a complete renovation from top to bottom. The original work did not meet building codes, contractor hired unlicensed sub-contractors and left us with two consecutive floods in a basement he had fully renovated. Our dream house purchase turned into our biggest nightmare. James, presented to us with high recommendations, came in and provided us with a comprehensive list of all the items that needed repair/fixing. He was extremely professional and sensitive to the situation we had just experienced. James and his crew, who were all fully licensed, experts in their field and very professional. Without any doubt or hesitation, James Barton will be hired to perform any and all work on our home. Thank you James for everything you did! You went above and beyond for us and anyone would be crazy not to hire you and your crew for any type of work. <br />"

"The job was professional from start to finish. WEV started the job when promised and completed it on time. The work was done professionally and safely which was extremely important since the job was 30-40 feet off the ground. The work was completed and came in a little under the estimate which is always a pleasant surprise. I plan on using WEV again in the near future when I need more assistance on finishing my new home. I recommend WEV highly and would suggest getting an estimate from them before making your final choice of a contractor. Great Company!"

"Our deck design and construction went very well. The owner "overengineered" the construction for a high level of strength and stability. They used edging boards throughout to avoid having board ends on edges. The owner also worked very well with me in designing a tricky part of the deck/pergola interface and in determining the best way to combine our choice of slanted deck boards and minimizing waste. There was no argument when I realized we'd made one error in design. They just removed part of the deck and rebuilt it in the better way. The photo shows the completed deck as they continue to work putting the skirt underneath."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Gap-mills, WV

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
