"Wayne provided good, thorough service. Unfortunately the diagnosis was a bad condenser. I did not wish to replace the part at a cost of $1400 for the refrigerator that sits in the garage. He put me in contact with someone who will remove the old one for free and who also has refurbished or scratch/dent appliances that comes with a 1-year warranty. I call that going above and beyond what turned out to be a diagnostic service call. I will keep his name and number for the next time I need appliance repair work."

"Great experience. Our 25+ year old Maytag slide-in stove's control board was damaged by an electrical surge. After searching, we found that new or used parts are no longer available. Other than the control board the stove is in good condition and looks new. Found The Repair Shack while searching the internet, but somewhat leery about sending the part half way across the country. After talking with courteous and patient customer service staff, I decided to send the control board via USPS, Flat Rate. When it was received, I was notified and shortly thereafter, it was repaired and returned. I was contacted that the part was being sent back, and not only was it fixed, but other parts that showed wear were replaced. If it didn't work, I was told to send it back and they would work on it again. It works!!! Saved over $1000 for a new stove, and in addition, it saved one stove from the landfill. I am extremely appreciative of the work done by the technicians at The Repair Shack, which was done in a timely manner and at the price quoted.
