"I have tried several different types of gutter guards on my 5 homes over 40 years. These are by far the best. They keep out the big leaves and the needles and the seeds. And they do not just pile up on top, eventually growing little trees. They wash off. Trees drop branches and pine cones but they have not damaged the gutter guards. Other guards do okay with big leaves, but needles and seeds get through. Ice and pine cones invert them or branches impale and dislodge them. If you are determined to keep your gutters clear and have mature trees above them you will end up with this system eventually. Cheaper and easier to do it the first time."
