"There are no words to describe how impressed I am with AU Handyman and Cleaning service. Ulises response was within 10 min. for an emergency where smoke alarm was going of in condo and we were out of state. He was out the door and on his way within 10 min...so grateful for that and then subsequently he and Areyi came to do a deep clean to ready the condo for sale. It had previously been "deep cleaned" but was no where near ready for sale. They came and did a meticulous job and no detail was overlooked. Two days later I needed something shipped to me and Areyi was kind enough to go to the condo and take care of that. And she didnt want to get paid ! It was a courtesy...You can rely on AU Handyman and cleaning Service for everything!! I have not had more dependable service from any company everrr! So reasonably priced also! "Their price was in line with other contractors we found on AngiesList and decided to go with them because of the good reviews.  The crews showed up when they said they would and were friendly, but overall we are not incredibly pleased with the quality of the job.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />For $660 to powerwash, sand, and re-finish a 150 SF deck, we expected a higher standard of service.  We have trees above the deck, and therefore have some debris that had collected in the spaces in between the deck boards and on the steps. This should have been something that power washing would easily clean up, but after the job was finished the debris was still there and I was left having to scrape out this material myself with a coat hanger.  Also, the stain was applied very quickly and hastily.  Walking on the deck now you can see just below the walking surface of the boards where the stained part meets the original part, leaving very noticeable lines in the gap between the boards where the stain was not applied.  They also appear to have skipped staining the supporting beams for the deck - which are only 4 pieces 2' from the ground to the deck. <br />"

"Ryan showed up on time for the estimate, Lindsey (his wife) gave us good advice on the color, they showed up on time to do the job and everything looks great.  We had a few small stain spots on the concrete under part of the deck, and when I called and asked how I could remove them, he came out the next day and removed them for us. He also did some repairs to the deck and replaced one board completely.  I have had the deck refinished several times in the past, and this was the first time I was actually pleased with the process and the result. <br /> I would definitely use them again. <br />"

"I purchased the deal for a one hour color consultation with Tall Pines. Kelly, our Consultant, was fantastic. She called and scheduled an appointment with us, and even rescheduled at the last minute when my wife had a conflict. She showed up right when she said she would and we got to work.Kelly has a great eye for color and design and was able to distinguish subtleties that we would have never been able to on our own. We walked through the house room by room and built a color pallet that flowed throughout the whole house. Kelly even sat on the floor with us to help us choose the right carpet. The next day I got an email from her that detailed all of the decisions we had made, and she even ordered sample color cards to be sent to our house.Kelly helped us make the choices we would have never been able to make on our own. My deck needed a complete overhaul due to rotting wood and poor infrastructure that was also not to code. His crew is honest and hard working (who works until 6pm on a Friday anymore!) - both of which are very tough to find. Last but not least, at the end of each work day the crew cleaned up, swept, and hauled away materials. I didn't have to worry about nails, wood, and whatever else all over my driveway at the end of each day, which is also important with young kids.
