Tim Van Der Kolk grew up in Holland where he has lived his whole life and graduated from Holland Christian. He has 16 years of plumbing experience and has owned is own business for 9 years. Tim may own his own business, but you will frequently see him responding to calls, getting his hands dirty on site.
"Nice enough people. I hired them last year and was pleased. This year, I requested they shut off water for the winter at my cottage on Lake Michigan, the same as they did last year. They did the service, but when I got the bill it was over $100 more than last year for the exact same service, same supplies. I called and was told, "It's sort of an insurance policy for us. In case there's a problem and we have a call back. We've added $100 to all our shut off services." So in other words, if there isn't a call back, you just pocket the $100? The original service was just $231 last year. So that's a 50% raise for them. Never heard of such a thing! I told him he just lost my service. Buyer, beware...!"
