"There were some glitches on my part. I didn't realize that the fans required single pole switches. The timer I purchased was a single pole and wouldn't work with the existing configuration. While they started working I ran back to Home Depot and returned the timer and bought the new switches that I needed. Also, the ceiling fan in my son's room required a 60 watt light bulb which I purchased during my return trip. The Home Depot lighting expert directed me to Schadler electric for the correct timer. I returned home with the correct parts and they finished all the jobs as promised and did not charge me anything for the extra time. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that gesture....so seldom found in today's world. I walked through my house and checked each item to make sure it was done correctly before they left my home. Everything checked out perfectly. Honestly, I have been wanting to get these things done for years. My beloved husband passed away 18 months ago and some of these items have needed attention since before he was alive. It is such a good feeling to find a trustworthy contractor especially when they have access to your home's interior. "It went great! This was the first time we ever used Angie's List to hire a handyman and couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Tyler of Jaworski Remodeling. We had some lights to be installed and an area behind our dishwasher that needed closed/sealed up. Tyler arrived when he said he would. He was very courteous , polite. and respectful. He took great care to clean up each work area before moving on to the next. In total, he ended up being at our home for approximately 4+ hours, and he never once stopped working until the job was completed (no breaks/lunch!) "Colmar Contracting is the best. We contacted four separate contractors in May/June for estimates to paint our home this summer. We were reluctant to bring in others to work on our home as we try to do all of our own house projects. Painting is not one of our strengths and therefore we decided to contract out for quality of work and timely completion of such a large project. With most estimates being fairly similar, we decided to work with Colmar and were not disappointed. Along with listening to our ideas as to what we wanted, they also provided expert insight into those ideas and helped shape our final decisions. "Nate and Junior did a wonderful job and charged a fair price.. They installed three sheets of drywall and repaired existing drywall in a small powder room. The work was performed quickly with virtually no dust or extra joint compound created when finishing the joints. It took awhile to get the work scheduled mostly due to Covid-19 but it was well work the wait. I would recommend this firm for drywall installation/repair."
