"Outstanding!!! By far one of the finest installations that I have had performed in my home over the last 30 years. Eric who performed the installation is a master at recessed light installation. After a brief survey of my existing lighting and my new requirements he went right to work. He made only two (2) 6"x 6" drywall ceiling cuts to complete the 11 light installation. I envisioned that my ceiling would require major drywall work when he finished and my requirement to hire a drywall contractor. In fact he did such great job in his ceiling entry work I completed the drywall patch work myself. He took advantage of my existing wiring to tie all lights in and replaced existing switches with ones that provided a dimmer capability. If you are thinking of having recessed LED lighting installed and don't hire Murphy Family Services and Eric specifically you're missing out on a great opportunity to spruce up your home with a quality lighting job (Oh! don't forget that you have to buy the LED lights and switches but at today's prices they're a real bargain. "There were some glitches on my part. I didn't realize that the fans required single pole switches. The timer I purchased was a single pole and wouldn't work with the existing configuration. While they started working I ran back to Home Depot and returned the timer and bought the new switches that I needed. Also, the ceiling fan in my son's room required a 60 watt light bulb which I purchased during my return trip. The Home Depot lighting expert directed me to Schadler electric for the correct timer. I returned home with the correct parts and they finished all the jobs as promised and did not charge me anything for the extra time. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that gesture....so seldom found in today's world. I walked through my house and checked each item to make sure it was done correctly before they left my home. Everything checked out perfectly. Honestly, I have been wanting to get these things done for years. My beloved husband passed away 18 months ago and some of these items have needed attention since before he was alive. It is such a good feeling to find a trustworthy contractor especially when they have access to your home's interior. Run to, do not walk to, the next special offer you see on Angie's list offered by Action Door and Property Services. I am fairly certain that you will have that "best present I ever received" feeling like me."

"It went great! This was the first time we ever used Angie's List to hire a handyman and couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Tyler of Jaworski Remodeling. We had some lights to be installed and an area behind our dishwasher that needed closed/sealed up. Tyler arrived when he said he would. He was very courteous , polite. and respectful. He took great care to clean up each work area before moving on to the next. In total, he ended up being at our home for approximately 4+ hours, and he never once stopped working until the job was completed (no breaks/lunch!) Tyler's prices were very reasonable, and we felt well worth the work he completed in our home. He even guarantees his work for one year. In summary, we were very pleased with Tyler Jaworski and will not hesitate to call upon him again for future work in our home."

"Colmar Contracting is the best. We contacted four separate contractors in May/June for estimates to paint our home this summer. We were reluctant to bring in others to work on our home as we try to do all of our own house projects. Painting is not one of our strengths and therefore we decided to contract out for quality of work and timely completion of such a large project. With most estimates being fairly similar, we decided to work with Colmar and were not disappointed. Along with listening to our ideas as to what we wanted, they also provided expert insight into those ideas and helped shape our final decisions. The painters showed up promptly and ready to work hard every day. They were very accommodating to me as I was off work and home during the time frame they were working in our home. The painters were friendly, courteous, and attentive to our requests. They finished painting our entire home in only eight days. Our biggest concern was attention to detail and we are very impressed with the quality of their wok as well as their willingness to meet our demands and go above and beyond expectations.
