He called within a couple of hours and listened to my concerns about our security gate.  <br /> When Tim came over to check the gate, he clearly and patiently explained the various functions. This included showing us how the gate was tied to one of our phone lines. He also tested and then had us practice using the various gate functions. Tim explained the type of gate we had (we are new owners of the house), how to maintain the gate and exactly how to use each function.  <br /> After approximately 45 minutes, we were done and I asked him how much I owed him. He replied, "Nothing, we just hope to have your business in the future." <br /> When our gate needs to be serviced, Tim K. will be the first person I will call. "Excellent! We got several bids for what we wanted. Jim's was about in the middle, but we had seen his work on a friend's house and decided to go with him. We have 3 large dogs who enjoy running down the road and wanted to stop that at our new house. Jim and his crew came out and marked where we wanted the fence, got the locator service to come out to be sure we avoided the underground power, then arrived on time and put up the fence. We had arranged for an electric gate as part of the installation, but after the first day it dawned on us that a man-gate would be much easier for fetching rogue dogs who managed to escape. We called that night, left a message, and they were able to make the change the next day in the part of the fence that wasn't up yet. The fence is exactly what we wanted. We put some Costco solar lights up on some of the fence posts, especially around the keypad for entry, and the house and the dogs are much more secure."

"They did an excellent job on both the repair and the replacement of our garage door opener.  The repair went well (very responsive and came out the next day after I called).  The garage door opener replacement took about 2 hours and all is well so far.  I may add that they were late for both appointments so take this into consideration when you use them.  Perhaps they should add more time between jobs and call if they think they will be late.  We plan to use them again for annual maintenance. <br />"

When he came to the house he had pictures (as well as those on his website) and was very professional, got the measurement and informed me approximately how long it would take. It took a couple of weeks longer than expected, but he came out and was prompt and on time when he came by to install. The railing is beautiful and a contractor who also was at our house commented on how well it was done because of the way the concrete was capped at the base. "The process for getting quotes was fine. The sales person was friendly and showed up for appointments on time. The timeline for getting the gates and posts built was around 8-10 weeks from the time we signed the contract and paid a deposit. They dug the holes for the footings about a month prior to installing the posts and gates, so we had holes in our driveway for a month, it would have been nice if the time between the footings and the installation had been shorter. The person that drew the designs for our gates was awesome. I sent him photos of designs for some gates and fences that I liked. He did a great job of applying the designs to our gate. The frames were built perfectly - so we could add the wood to complete the project. All in all the gates exceeded my expectations. <br />"
