"I contacted 3 Shimy's Home Maintenance & Repair because I had several small works of repairs and installation to do very quickly, following the move-out of our tenants. Michael has returned my call promptly, and he was able to squeeze into his schedule quickly to help me. The next day he was at the house to do the work. Also, I needed someone to clean the house throughout very quickly. I asked Michael if he could recommend someone. Michael has contacted a lady with whom he often works and does an excellent job; she changed her work schedule to accommodate because Michael asked her. He did the work in an extremely efficient manner. Michael went pick-up the over the range microwave and the dishwasher at the store and installed them and haul off the dishwasher. Excellent work and cleanup perfect. I asked Michael to provide me with invoices and he has sent them the next day. Being myself a certified General Contractor in industrial, commercial and residential since 26 years, in Québec, Canada, I can assess very quickly the skills of a subcontractor. I asked Michael an estimate to install a Bathroom Vanity Top of 104 inches with 2 bowls, and I received the estimate the next day. He will install when the order will be ship at store. Michael is personable, knowledgeable in many trades, very professional, efficient and concerned about details, work clean and it cleans up once the work is completed. "We had a very bad pigeon problem after we had solar installed on our home. We had constant cooing, tons of bird feces and eggs rolling of the roof constantly.
I Contacted The Pigeon Guy after I did not hear back from another company about the same service. I am very glad that fate lead me to these guys. From the first visit to provide a quote to actual remediation the staff at The Pigeon Guy were top notch.
They explained everything they were doing to clean off our roof of bird droppings and how exactly they went about sealing the edges around our solar panels to prevent pigeons from returning. They even made repairs to our roof caused by our solar installers until permanent repairs could be made. They really left the place in better shape then it was before they arrived.
They installed wire mesh around the panels, netting on the apex of the roof to prevent birds from nesting between the panels on either side of the roof and put slippery stuff on spots not covered by netting or screen.
They did a good job cleaning up the removed bird feces they washed off and ensured that all of our outdoor furniture was moved before cleaning.
In the end it was the attention to detail and patience to answer my questions that I most admired. In 5 years when the warranty is done I will have them out again to do a tune up. Best of all no more 24/7 cooing, falling eggs or bird feces.

"The work took place in the hallway, 2 closets and the front room, 250 sq ft total. These guys were fantastic, knowledgeable, careful and thorough.  They scraped the old glue off so the thin-set would adhere better.  They were hard workers, amiable and neat in the placement of the porcelain planks.  They completely cleaned up after each day.  The job turned out fantastic, couldn't ask for anything better.  Thanks guys!

"The rooms look great and we are really pleased with the finished product. We will be having two further rooms done at a later date. Dana the owner was very helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending this service.  I just have a couple of points having never experienced this type of work before and not knowing what to expect.
Dana does the installation and then his assistant follows behind him and fills, rubs down and paints nail holes and seams.  The crown molding installation is done in a few hours but the rub down, filling and painting takes a very long time which we had not been aware of.  The assistant does an excellent job but it took from about 8:30 a.m. till after 7:00 p.m.
I think that a plastic covering should be used to cover items/furniture directly under where the crown molding is being fitted.  We did ask about this but it is not done as a matter of course.  The rub down, filling and paint does drop tiny particles of debris and dust and we did have a few tiny spots of paint.  All easily cleaned up though with a quick wipe around and vacuum.
We are delighted with our crown molding and are looking forward to completing our other two rooms.  We have two plastic sheets at the ready for next time. We are delighted to recommend this company to any interested party.
