"Bad Experience. Bait and Switched us. Told us the no more than cost of our removal verbally and then said he needed $4k to do the design with us and get final firm contract after that. I told him I was skeptical giving him $4k and then have him come back with contract stating it would cost a big percent more. He assured me “he is not that kind of guy”. Then after the design and a smaller scope he wanted to charge us 30% more. Took our money and we now have to start over with a new contractor."

"Gene tore out the old bathroom and installed everything new. He did the plumbing moves, electrical changes, tiling, and painting. He even built new floor to ceiling shelving. He reconfigured the hanging and shelving in two closets in the primary bedroom. Gene was prompt, organized and diligent. The workmanship is excellent. I would recommend Eugene Field to anyone that needs a general contractor and remodeling work done."

"Tim and Marc did a great job replacing an old leaky pilot house door that had likely been taking on water long before we had even moved in. The job required taking apart the entire door frame, clearing out and replacing old rotted wood, as well as removing and re-doing some of the outdoor siding, and they were well up to the task. Throughout the process they explained all the existing damage and the work that was to be done to ensure a water-tight seal. "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My wife called them because we had two showers that were clogged. They initially wanted to charge $1500 to snake two drain lines. After speaking with a manager, they came down to $779 "to earn our business" but then the plumber it took them less than an hour to complete the task. Would not do a time and materials. This level of price gouging should be reported to the better business bureau. There are other companies that will clean your drains for far less. We should have stuck with our normal plumber."
