"Sutton's roofed my ranch house w/attached garage in 2015. I noticed a small water puddle on the garage floor in 2020. The next Monday morning Adam was out to inspect for the source of my problem. He determined that caulk on a vent had lost its seal. He wanted a better caulk than he was carrying on his truck for the repair. He returned after lunch with the right caulk and resealed both garage roof vents. Adam texted me at 2:00 that the repair was complete. I am very pleased with Sutton's standing behind their installation work. In addition to a new roof, the 2015 job as pictured also included windows, doors, siding and interior reconfiguration."

"The owner is self-employed who specializes in home repair and remodeling. The replacement of a the basement door was the third project done over a two year period. Previous projects in 2013 included installing ceiling fans, installing wood laminate flooring and baseboards in the master bedroom, and installing new base trim and installing a new staircase handrail. All baseboards and base trim were painted. <br /> In 2014, the current project required 12 hours to remove a deteriorating door frame and to make a new door frame to secure a new standard 6 panel steel door to fit into a non-standard opening. The project included adding vinyl trim and foam insulation. Everything was cleaned up following the work. <br />"

"This was a WONDERFUL experience. I have used Buddy's Mobile Home Service for over 10 years and their work is ALWAYS SUPERIOR, PROFESSIONAL and THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! I met Brian for the first time and found his services Outstanding. We also spoke of other jobs that I need to have performed within my home and I am excited to know that I can continue to rely on Buddy's Mobile Home Services to do the work I need! <br /> If you own a Modular Home, like I do, and live in a Mobile Home Community or own a Manufactured Home or Mobile Home, many tradesmen will not service these types of homes. If you have ANY interior or exterior needs, Buddy's Mobile Home Service is the company to call. <br /> My shutoff valve to my icemaker burst about 9:15 p.m. on 10/2/2013 and I contacted Buddy's Mobile Home Service and they fit me in the next day, 10/3/2013, and my water was up and running by 3:00 p.m. <br /> I just appreciate the prompt, professional and kind service I received! Thanks Brian! I'll be calling soon to schedule more work! <br />"

"His name is Brian true.  I have used him several times.  They do good with dry wall, laying new floor, taking windows in and out and all the repair works around the house.  The guy does not argue back when I ask him to do something.  You know how you live in the house, and you know how you want things done and a lot of repair men they don’t follow.  One time I had put a paper on the wall where I want the hole, I put the exact measurements on that paper and taped it to the wall and I made the drastic mistake of going to work that day.  The repair man made the hole in the wall where I wanted it and I asked him a couple of months later why he made the hole so big and he replied that I would have wanted a bigger air conditioner later so he made it bigger.  Stuff like that happen to me all the time.  They don’t do what I ask them to do.  They do what they think is better.  This guy is not like that.  He does what you want him to do.  His prices are reasonable.  As for his punctuality he might be an hour or two late but he would show up the day that he said he said he would show up."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Girard, IL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
