He informed us the foundation was failing and explained what needed to be done. He throughly explained everything and told us how we could do it ourselves for much cheaper than a contractor could do it. In the end he saved us from a long and expensive process if we proceeded with the house."

I wanted something with more horsepower and after doing some research, I decided an ejector pump would work best for my home. Tyler was very friendly and understanding of my situation. He told me about some options, gave me the literature and a fair price for what I wanted. He and his team were very professional and attentive and definitely knowledgeable about the equipment and installation process. I was a little apprehensive about going with a company that’s just starting out, but Tyler gave me a good feeling about their company and products. I’m very happy with the installation and the service I received. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again (although I hope I never have to) for any future needs. "1 / 2 We had a mixed, at best, experience with Ohio Basement Authority. Our project was a complete finishing of our basement. In November of 2024, when meeting with the sales point of contact, we had a professional experience. They took about two hours to come out, hear our wants/needs, give us additional ideas, take measurements and put together a quote. We ended up awarding OBA our project Dec 2024, and the project start date was April 2025. Before the project began, it became clear that multiple items from the initial agreement and draft did not make its way to the project team that would actually be handling it. As a result, we had to approve change orders that cost us several thousands of dollars that were not a part of our original quoted figure (but would have been if everything were accurately depicted from the get-go). We were given a verbal estimate of 8-10 weeks to have the project completed (i.e. mid-June/early July 2025), and encountered many delays throughout the"

"Zach mis measured a foundation on step #1, made the wood structure fit in the cheapest and laziest way. Concrete pillars were supposed to be hidden under the shed (I also supplied a drawing from another contractor to go by) and they now extend past so I am not able to just easily landscape around them as well as some of the brackets literally hanging off of the pillars. A couple of the concrete screws did not draw down all the way, a normal person would find out why and fix but nope they left it this way, pictures in the link!! The foundation was not square and it is to wide as well due to this mistake. I also had to shim multiple areas due to the foundation not being level. He promised to come back and help with some landscaping and some sort of flashing on the back to help hide the mistakes and most importantly keep water off the wood, I even had him give me a paid receipt saying he will return to help and then disappeared. I have linked pictures and a video of the terrible workmanship. Would not recommend. A follow up and help with some of the landscaping would have been very appreciated. { Removed google link}"

"We had our basement waterproofed by Baker's. It's been bone-dry since. We did have one piece of equipment fail within a month of the installation, but it was a third party dehumidifier that was just a dud I guess, no fault of Baker's. I texted the project manager about it on a Sunday. I expected a response the following week. He got back to me within the hour. The equipment was removed and replaced within a couple days. Everything great since. I would highly recommend Baker's, but specifically our project manager Nathan Goddard and the head guy on site Daylan. Can't remember his last name, but he's got a long beard and did a great job. Thanks to both of them and the rest of the guys."
