"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"

"I have used Bob Teegardin for several years. I have used him for a variety of handyman services including plumbing, interior and exterior painting, and general repairs,  Over the past several years he has installed toilets, replaced faucets, repaired leaks, painted the exterior of my house twice as well as most of the interior, repaired the exterior sill plate, installed linoleum, and sanded a wood floor.He is willing to tackle every job and is very dependable. I would recommend him and use him anytime!"

"I asked him to go on the roof to make sure the masonry was OK but he said it looked fine from the ground and did not go on the roof. I honestly thought that would be a part of the service, my roof is very easy to get up on and I would have preferred to have the masonry around the chimney inspected since I had recently purchased the house. <br />"

"This project went about as smoothly as one could possibly expect. Colin Bushong was very important in the design process that began in January. His knowledge of Chief Architect software made it easy for us to see how well we were communicating our renovation ideas. He came up with innovations that helped with costs and improved the effect of the project. Later, his renderings were important for the appraiser to understand and evaluate the improvements we were considering. <br /> The work began on April 15th. Most of the construction was done by Colin and a 2-man crew; subcontractors were used for plumbing, electrical, and the counter top. They always showed up on time and worked a full day. We lived in the apartment over our garage during the entire project. <br /> The inevitable glitches that arose were handled by Colin seeming ease. We are already considering future projects that we want done by him. <br /> <br />"

"I waited until after the winter to post this review because i wanted to see how the install held up after it took a winter beating and the high winds of spring. The results were very positive, with the roof looking great. Jim was easy to work with, identified the problems we had, provided a temporary repair to stop leaks and found matching shingles and did the full job at near his quote cost (we needed more material after project started and needs were clearer). Jim had injured his foot and we did have delays due his recovery, but he got up on that steep roof as soon as he was able to do the job. He was quick to respond to inquiries and did no more than job required. <br />"
