"They initially thought we needed the foundations and poles replaced on one or more support poles for our main border beam. This was based on measurements before the carpet was taken out. We scheduled the work, and had the carpet removed. Once removed, it was apparent to the crew that showed up that the work didn’t need to be done. They quickly reassessed and were honest with me about the reassessment. Their crew was already on site and they could have easily just done the work and billed us. They had a structural engineer contact us to follow up and do a formal reassessment of what work needs to be done. Their crew chief attended the engineer’s assessment to make sure they understood. Their estimators and crew were friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. I paid their crew (already on site) to tear apart some wall to make sure we completed the inspection, but no additional work needed to be done. Their work ethic and commitment to getting this right has them on the top of my list for any future work I need done in their area of expertise."

The work crew was on time each day and made every effort to keep the dust from entering the upstairs. They were very considerate and seemed to enjoy working together. "John from AA Waterproofing showed up on time to analyze the water problem coming through my foundation. He showed me a video that gave me all the alternatives to fixing it with the internal French Drain showing the best results - and warrantied for any future problems for both me and anyone who buys my house in the future. Although this is not an inexpensive solution, it appears to be the best. John did a nice job of responding to all my questions both during the inspection and afterwards. I did do some research on the costs and AA's bid came in down the middle range. The crew (4 men) showed up on time (actually an hour early) and immediately got to work covering all the steps down to the basement and the front entry way. They also put plastic covering over all the stuff in the unfinished basement. The work went quickly and neatly as could be expected. Sam, the foreman, did a good job of answering my questions and showing me the progress. They had 70 feet of internal digging and piping to be done to connect to a new sub pump that was part of the bid. All in all, the job too two days (much faster than anticipated) and looks good. After cementing (special hydro pressure cement) the wall where the crack existed, Sam also installed an extra mold proof walling over the that area. Overall, the work looks good with a nicely done cementing of the drain around the perimeter of my basement. So far we have not experienced enough rain to test the results, but I feel confident that this was the best solution done by a very competent company."

"We have been working with Affordable for a couple of years now. To put it lightly, we have the basement from hell. When they arrived, we had some water in the basement and they quoted us based on their normal pricing. Once the concrete came up, we couldn't believe what we were dealing with. It is a constant flow of water that required two sump pits and an insane amount of work to install our drainage system. Every time they tried to dig a pit it would backfill with sand and water- they had to dig this up painstakingly- foot by foot. We thought for sure we were in for additional costs, but they stuck by the original estimate. Since then, any time we have had an issue or a question, they are quick to answer. Poor Kelly and Bobby probably recognize our number on the caller ID but whenever we make a call or send an email, we always get a response- usually with a visit on the same day. They responded very quickly and had someone out for the inspection a day later. Ed completed my inspection and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole process. He didnâ t try to scare me into getting any services and was very patient with me. Any questions I had he was on it and available. When I made my final decision it was quick and a painless process. The crew cleaned up well and walked me through the work they had done. They installed a new drain and sump pump. Might I add they made my installation very esthetic by placing the line in the wall to hide the pipes when the dry wall is replaced. I will definitely recommend to friends and family!"
