He arrived with a complete package/brochure which included a letter of introduction and an unsolicited list of references of work completed within our local area. Randy was very patient with us in trying to decide whether to use cedar or pressurized wood to support the deck as well as our seasonal porch. On the first day of work, a three man crew arrived with Brandon as the lead team member. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and quiet as they worked for the next five days. They were extremely tidy in cleaning up during and after the work product was installed. We would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others. A job very WELL DONE!"

"Our project: Full kitchen redesign including changed floor plan. Plus remodel the dining room, living room, hallway, entry way, basement living room and hallway. Also new stair railing system. Basically everything except bedrooms and bathrooms. We got quotes from several different companies and all 3 were around the same price point for our project. Peak stood out from the others because they were the most professional and seemed the most interested in helping us achieve our goals. Initially we worked with Eric who listened to what we wanted and helped us design our remodel. He provided us with a 3D model of the new layout and space along with an estimate. We then worked with their extended teams to pick out all the materials like flooring, counter tops, cabinets, tile, doors, hardware, paint colors, lighting, etc. It took longer than they expected to start and finish the job but we're very happy with the end results. The quality of their workmanship is EXCELLENT! Also, their crew was very professional and kept things tidy and as clean as possible. "We love our fence-- it's beautiful!  Yet, while the final outcome was"A" worthy, a few bumps along the way unfortunately weigh down my overall rating.
When I reached out to Artistic Fence through Angie's List, I got a timely response and an estimate soon followed.  I liked the samples of their work, the price seemed fair and reviews on Angie's List were strong so we signed the work agreement and made our deposit without delay.  
The bumps were essentially the result of some inconsistencies in the way of customer service.  Namely, we were not impressed with the crew that did the tear-out of the old fence and placed the posts because of their general lack of professionalism and regard for our property.  I feel pretty strongly that every crew working residential jobs needs at least one person who has the soft skills needed to, at the very least, introduce themselves to the homeowner and say what they are there to do.  If there was such a person in this crew, he did not introduce himself, which caused some unease.  Plus, they did not space two of the posts correctly so one needed to be dug up and moved by the builder.  I believe with more proactive and detailed communication from a project manager, my expectations could have been managed more effectively.  For instance, I was expecting the crew in the morning of the first day so I stayed home from work to get them set-up with power and water.  After a couple hours I inquired about their whereabouts.  Turned out they didn't arrive until the afternoon and then worked for only an hour and while I understand the weather's heat was likely disruptive, I felt out of the loop.  Or, perhaps that was part of the project plan all along, but based on my expectations they were late, left early and threw the job off schedule. Things turned around after I expressed my frustration over having a torn-up, exposed yard and  being told the job would not be finished by the agreed date or two days after that when we were slatted to host an event in our backyard or two days after that. 
They responded with great service recovery?moving things around to send out their ?best builder? (perhaps owner too) to get things very close to finished allowing us to get our yard cleaned up in time for our party.  He was great?friendly, understanding, and detail-focused.   He was very apologetic about our experience with the earlier crews.  He communicated how he was going to approach the build.  When he finished, he gave his recommendations on care, including staining.  He let me grab some scrap pieces to test stains.  He even offered to haul away some old concrete footings from a separate project, which was very helpful.  And, like I said at the beginning, the finished product is really lovely and has helped us enjoy our backyard so much more.
Based on the final product, I think it?s a shame this project didn?t earn an A because the fence is truly excellent.  The process in total was good, just falling short of great.  I would certainly recommend Artistic Fence and I would use them again in the future.

"Let me say, there are fencing companies, and then, there is Garden Structures & More.  You really cannot even begin to compare the two.  Hal is a top-notch craftsman from start to finish.  This was not a typical fencing job, where sections are brought in, posts are set into the ground and the sections attached to the posts.  This was an entirely different experience.  The fence was built on site, board by board.  The vertical boards in the lattice actually go all the way down to the bottom of the fence. Of course, doing it that way requires a bit of a mathematical genius, when you are dealing with different width boards in between the lattice boards-- especially when you get into the corners where sections need to be a different width from the standard size. I also realized how much care was taken in dealing with the slight level differences in my yard. Hal was careful to make adjustments when possible, so that the top line of the fence remained level, even though the ground did not.  It is sturdier than any fence I've ever seen, and the attention to detail is wonderful.  Every side of each board is routered to give it a softer edge.  The posts don't need a cap.  The tops are routered the same as the rest of the fence, and they look simple and clean, a lovely complement to the clean lines of the fence as a whole.  The double gate with arbor is really beautiful.  I'm not a fan of black hardware, and Hal supplied some beautiful stainless that looks so much nicer.  Hal started right on schedule, and ended exactly when he said he would.  And, he is very thoughtful.  Not only did he build me a beautiful fence, but he put up a bird feeder that I hadn't gotten around to doing myself, and even brought my garbage cans into the garage on garbage day!  In the days since the fence was completed, I have received many compliments on the fence and arbors from people walking by.  And, they have also commented on what a nice crew installed my fence-- that it seemed like a great group of guys.  I would use Garden Structures and More again, in a heartbeat.  It was a great experience!

After awarding Kevin the job, Kevin and another employee did an excellent job refinishing our deck, plus the front cedar shakes and front cedar entry of our home. I found Deck Redo's work to be of equal or better quality than what I would expect from a higher priced competitor and felt very comfortable knowing they were going to do a great job. The quality of their work made the cost a very good value. I strongly recommend considering Deck ReDo if you are looking for bids for deck maintenance (ask about other cedar maintenance you may need done, they might be able to do. Cady Handyman scheduled one of his service tech to come out the follow morning.
The tech arrived promptly at the scheduled time with a friendly ready to fix our problem attitude.
We have raised nails and screws on our deck that always seem to reappear during winter months.
These raised nails and screws made snow removal just horrible.The Cady tech recommened that we remove many of the bad loose fastners and replaced with a new non-corosive styles of screws.
After a complete walk through of our project we were extremely satified.

With our project completed we are now looking forward to the winter to come.

"Greene Construction Inc was amazing. The best contractor I have ever had and will use them again for sure.
First they installed the egress window for us and the next day came back to build a pine wall and door so our middle child could have his own bedroom.
It took two full days and it was worth it. Both mornings they showed up at 8 AM and worked until it was done. They cleaned up well after the work was done as well.
The company is great and I recommend them to all.
