"David was very professional and skilled. On a Sunday, he responded quickly to my urgent request (water was backing up into my bathtubs due to an underground pipe breakage). He was able to identify the source of the problem (which was not straightforward), cleaned and fixed a broken exterior underground drain (with Nu Drain). He even identified and fixed another displaced drain connection, and installed a cleanout at the exterior of home. He had a very positive attitude (even in the cold rain) and stayed until it was done (while working in the dark). He was very good at explaining the situation and the work that needed to be done. He seems to have state-of-the-art equipment. He went above and beyond my expectations. I will highly recommend him to my friends and family. Would definitely hire this service again."

"Three months ago my father, who thru fifty years of marriage and home ownership had dealt with repairs himself or been the one to do the hiring if a contractor was needed, was diagnosed with dementia. He had to be abruptly placed into a care facility. My mother was emotional and overwhelmed to say the least. Walking through the house, I could see how his health had indeed been slipping: home repairs were started but not finished, areas of upkeep and home maintenance he always stayed on top of in the past had been left to fall into disarray. One of these unfinished repairs was the laundry room washtub. My mother said it had a backed up drain. I could see the piping beneath it was in pieces and that my father had started but never finished repairing it. I found Pacific Crest Plumbing and was immediately impressed. The woman I spoke to on the phone said the owner Nick liked to speak with the customers himself. He would be in touch with me about my project and scheduling. Sure enough, Nick called me back within a few minutes. He could not have been nicer and more understanding of the situation. He asked that I take a few clear pictures, then send them to him so he could provide an estimate over the phone rather than having to charge me to drive out to the house and do a diagnosis. After looking through the pictures, Nick told me exactly what he would recommend doing to repair the tub. He provided written estimates that included both snaking the drain, and not snaking the drain, since I told him I was unsure if my father had done that part of the project yet already. He was able to get us schedule the very next day. I cannot say enough nice things about Nick or Pacific Crest Plumbing."

"Our CPVC house piping had a lot of water hammer. After turning on the washing machine, I walked out for a moment, and then when I came back in water was dripping from the ceiling exhaust fan onto the washing machine. We have a two story house and they ran the hot water plumbing from the water heater in the garage through the laundry room ceiling. I removed the exhaust fan and could see water dripping from a tee way back beyond reach. The water hammer from the washer likely caused the fitting to start leaking. I turned the house water supply off and sent a message to Simpson plumbing through Angie's list. A lady from Simpson plumbing contacted me right away the next morning. She was courteous, but was having a hard time understanding what the problem was. Maybe I was giving too much information or something, but when the plumbers arrived later that afternoon they didn't understand what was going on. I ran through what happened again and showed them the wet spot on the ceiling. They had to cut an opening in the ceiling and we turned the water on and confirmed the leak. We moved my washing machine out of their way and they cut out the CPVC tee and replaced it with PEX. The piping was brittle so it took him a couple of attempts to get a straight cut which is why I called them to mess with it. After installing the PEX tee, we were leak free and at my request they provided a reference for the drywall repair. He also advised getting some water hammer arrestors installed on the supply lines to the washing machine to stop the water hammer, which I have since done."

"J&M is the "go-to" for this type of work. They were very professional from start to finish. They were very knowledgable about the best practices for installing a gas line into the kitchen. They provided an accurate estimate for the length of pipe they would need to use to bring gas to the deck since they charge by the foot. They even installed a larger diameter pipe to the deck in case we ever want to install other gas appliances in the future. My only complaint is the cost, but you get what you pay for and when it comes to something like dealing with gas lines it seems important to go with a reputable company.

"Two years ago I bought an older house with cedar siding that was worn and at minimum in desperate need of painting.  As part of a neighborhood promotion, the DaBella salesman RJ Melendez visited me in my home and explained the Preservation line of products handled by DaBella.  I hadn't been considering vinyl siding because my mental image of vinyl was of something thin and weak with ugly seams, but RJ explained the new products are quite different.  He had siding sample pieces, color selector and information as to durability, energy efficiency, installation certification, life-time warranties (of materials and installation) and the like.  All of which sounded  very good.  I was most intrigued by what they call the hand-split shake style because, though neither RJ nor the web site offered a picture or an address of a house that I could visit with that exact style siding installed, the sample really did have the heft and look of hand split shake.  RJ did a quick estimate of cost to re-side my house and I signed the contract.  There were a couple of minor  miscommunications e.g. I did not realize initially that I would need to have the molding around my windows and doors "wrapped" to accomplish the look I was after so adding that to the contract increased the cost some.  But overall the company was very flexible and accommodating.  I was able without penalty or quibble to change my mind on the colors a couple of times and postpone the project start date by three weeks due to visiting family. 
The actual labor was done by Alside installers Damian and Scotty.  They were hard workers, very conscientious, clearly knowledgeable about the product they were installing and did a beautiful job.  It took a bit less than two weeks.  It seemed longer for all the pounding and the fact that the back yard was not really usable for all the clutter of equipment and materials.  But that was the nature of the job.  And though I still find a few nails and small snippets of siding the guys did an admirable job of cleaning up afterwards.  Mostly I am just quitr pleased with the final result."
