He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. Bob is a great problem solver and works with you to suggest ways to do repairs for the best outcome while keeping costs down. His work is high quality. I would definitely hire him again."

"I initially contacted C&J Home Services for gutter cleaning, but when Jose and his team were here, we discussed other problems/issues I was having around the house. Jose is very good at diagnosing the source of problems and offering cost-efficient ways to solve them. He took care of several of my problems at the same appointment even though he had just heard about them. A gutter on the 2nd story of my house had one downspout that drained into a smaller gutter on the annex below it, causing it to overflow badly during heavy rainfalls or melting snow. The solution was to add another side downspout from the top gutter to siphon off some of the water. Jose went immediately to the local Home Depot and came back and installed a new downspout. I've had no overflow since. On another part of the house, he re-attached a piece of siding that had come off and then figured out a way to seal the leaks from my kitchen fan vent. In addition, he identified the sources of a window leak and an attic draft to be resolved at a later date. (Other contractors I'd spoken with had not figured it out). He noticed some rips on the annex roof, took photos to show me, and sent a proposal to fix it. BTW, the gutter cleaning was perfect. Jose is a pleasure to work with. He's punctual, responsive, goes above and beyond, and he's good at what he does. I will definitely contact him to do additional work for me."

"At first, the old garage door opener failed and the garage door could not open or close automatically (only manually). I called Richard, he showed up on time on a short notice. He gave us some options and explained the cost and the time needed to do the work. He then came another day (I think it must have within 1-2 days after he came for the damage inspection) and installed the new garage door opener along with an assistant. There were no issues with the installation. He also got rid of the old, electrical wiring that was hanging all over the garage and installed new wiring that was nicely installed so that it is not visible to the eye. The new opener (belt)  is definitely much less noisy than the previous (chain) and was worth the extra cost. <br /> A few days after the installation, one of the springs broke and I asked him to come back to see if this is related to his work. He explained that he had not touched the springs when he installed the new garage opener and this was a completely different issue, which made sense to me. He installed new springs the next day at the cost of the parts only. He also installed new insulating material around the door for better weather protection for free (he did not want to charge for that). Again he showed up on time and delivered the work on schedule. <br /> Overall an excellent experience.  <br />"
