"We had a fairly complicated driveway to pave and Roads Paving did an outstanding job from beginning to end, starting with the estimator that came out to appraise the work and who guided us through the process, including, when we go the initial price and found we could afford more than the minimum amount of work. Install crew was highly skilled, professional, and customer oriented from top to bottom. Foremen and equipment operators adapted to the job, communicated, and gave us an even better product than we anticipated. We had a big job with difficult access and it was knocked out in one day; cleanup was excellent and price competitive."

"Washington State Paving installed my new 3450 square foot asphalt driveway in early December. They removed the old asphalt and added a solid base. In the process they discovered a sinkhole under the old driveway. Andrew and his crew were very resourceful in coming up with drainage solutions. It did cost extra, but it was well worth the price. My new driveway is a work of art. WSP is an excellent company. They are industrious, creative, and keep to the timeline. They communicate well and are easy to work with. My new driveway is solid, the edges are aligned, and the side drainage swale complements the landscape. I am most happy. Three of my neighbors also contracted with WSP, as a further testimonial."

"I needed an old driveway demolished and a new one (5") poured on a sloping property. He installed drains and was able to contour the surface for optimal parking angle. The whole project took three days as Joseph had promised. So far I'm pretty happy with the project."

"I live out of state, so all my transactions had to be done over the phone or email. WA state paving was very curtious and professional. My tenants loved the work they did. I would think my only recommendation would be communication. Follows were a bit slow, but it could have been the weather at that time. It had been snowing and I know that's not the norm."

"Nelson and his crew were very easy to work with and suggested some improvements to the original work plan. The work was done on time without any cost over-runs, and they did a decent job cleaning up afterward."

"Job went great! Company owner came to the site the day I called, provided an estimate for the job and a schedule for doing the work. He has a great crew who seem to like working together and are really hard workers (plus friendly to the customer). Dave was on the job site a lot of the time. The company seems to have all the necessary equipment which always them to keep from being held up waiting."

"Mike was called to look at our steps leading up to our house that we just had installed by a different concrete contractor to see if he could "fix" the disaster that Nelson Concrete did in my front yard. Mike came out the next day and gave us options to make the existing poorly constructed new steps we just had done look better but we decided to have Mike tear out the brand new steps and start over. His consultation on how iate Life would do things and the quality product we would get was what we were looking for. Mike made us feel comfortable after getting burned so bad from the bad contractor. Mike even made suggestions on how to make things look even better and a retaining wall made sense in addition to our steps. He worked with us on the budget for the project. He said that they would be out in 2 days to start and they did what they said they were going to do. Mike stopped by several times to monitor the progress of his team and the quality that we were getting. They even went he extra mile and colored and sealed our project without an up charge. Mike will take care of you and he saved our front yard and porch by doing the job right!"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Graham, WA

With routine care, an asphalt parking lot lasts 20 years. Plan to resurface every 15 years and sealcoat every three to five years, and tackle cracks as soon as they appear. Sticking to this schedule keeps the surface smooth, safe, and code-compliant, helping you get the full life span from your investment.

Installing a parking lot typically takes between two and four weeks, depending on factors such as size and weather conditions. The process includes ordering materials, site preparation, paving, curing time, and adding finish touches like paint striping. Please note that larger projects or unexpected weather delays may extend this timeline. Working with local professionals and suppliers can help keep the project on schedule and potentially reduce costs.

Maintenance depends on the surface you have. For asphalt, sealcoat every few years, resurface every 15 to 20 years, and patch potholes right away. Concrete lots require regular cleaning, inspections, and occasional patching. Whatever the material, create a maintenance calendar—and follow it—to keep the lot safe, attractive, and less expensive to own.

Apply a fresh sealcoat every two to five years, or sooner if heavy traffic fades the surface. Sealcoating fills hairline cracks, locks out moisture, and renews that deep black finish drivers recognize. Staying on schedule extends the pavement’s life and helps you avoid costly repairs down the road.

Professional sealcoating costs $0.15 to $0.30 per square foot, with rates influenced by lot size, local labor costs, and the type of sealer used. While you can rent sprayers, hiring a crew delivers even coverage, proper curing, and a warranty—advantages that protect both your pavement and your budget.
