"Chris Bramer and his associate were very professional and I felt the installation went well until I discovered that all of the product boxes with the instructions and warranties had been taken away to be discarded by the electricians. This was discovered at 10pm that night when I wanted to review the settings on the front lights which had motion sensors and timers that could be set. It was too late to call on a Friday night, so I waited til Saturday morning. I left a message that was returned on Monday morning. Chris was to the point by saying that the boxes had been thrown out. He minimized the issue, however, that did not rectify the fact that his associate threw away my property and had not asked me whether I would have further use for the wrappings, at all. I spent three hours that evening at a store to get copies of the warranties of the two different products plus the instructions. While I was satisfied with the installation by itself, I was not happy with that one aspect of the encounter. If you have read this far and still choose to go with Bramer Electric, just be sure you are clear that you want to keep the installation instructions and warranty information from the product boxes."

"Anthony and his team were fantastic. They installed 12 recessed lights and repaired a GFCI outlet that had been broken for several months. They gave me several options for lighting and explained the pros and cons of each option. Once I picked out my lighting, the bought the lights and went to work. "The company is in California and it took many calls to get the job coordinated with someone in my area.  I think that the company is more like a reference company. They seem to have a list of providers and then they coordinate the deal with someone in your area.
 The job was done fairly well. I paid for 200 sq ft and when the technician arrived he was disappointed that I did not want any more done.  I only wanted half of my deck washed as I was tearing down the other half. I also did not want railings done as I was getting new ones made. It is obvious that the deal is the hook and the hope is that you will have to buy a whole lot more when the technician arrives.
 My only complaint is that the splatter ended up on the windows of my house and no attempt was made to protect the windows or clean them afterwards.
The technician was courteous and the deck looked much better after he left. So I was satisfied with the job done, just find out how much more you would have to pay if you need more than the deal offers.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
