"Peter and his crew did a wonderful job with our kitchen demo...got rid of walls and closets and then put it all back together again. We couldn't be more pleased with their work. Professional guys with lots of experience. Always on time and cleaned the place up after they were done. Would highly recommend them....wonderful guys with lots of experience and personality. You cannot go wrong with these guys and they are extremely reasonable!!!!! And if you do get the pleasure of dealing with these guys, please treat them with respect and some good hospitality. They so deserve it!!!!!"

"BEWARE! Wes showed up at the house and I showed him the job - pool deck. He asked about other estimates, and how much it was ($17,000). Unfortunately, I told him and said I thought it was too high for a pool deck. I showed Wes the existing deck, and told him everything l wanted done; handrails to match the house porch, bottom enclosed with an access door. He wrote an estimate out for $14,000, but it didn't specifically include enclosing the deck, it just said,"Tear down old deck, replace with new deck of composite wood, and aluminum railings". I thought enclosing the deck was included in "replace with new deck". It was not. During construction, I was asked if I wanted the deck enclosed. I told him it was included. He told me it was not included. I stated we DID talk about it, he told me he didn't remember that, and charged $2850 for it. He used plywood he painted, not composite wood. The railings don't match the porch railings. The cost ended up more than the estimate given. "

"Bob and his crew are the best. This was a major renovation and complete re-do of a split level house that we converted to a more traditional house. 95% of our house was redone. Bob is meticulous and his subcontractors are fantastic at their crafts and very loyal to Bob for good reason. He was pretty instantaneous in his communication with me even on weekends, which we rarely bothered him in. This was a mid 6 figure job that Bob said would take 4 1/2 to 6 months. They finished in 5 1/2 months which is pretty amazing during a pandemic with major supply chain issues. Bobs bid wasnâ t the lowest, but it wasnâ t the highest of the 5 bids we received. They were pretty much on budget except for material price increases, especially lumber which was not his or the lumber yards fault. If youâ re thinking of hiring MZ Development you will not go wrong if you hire them to do whatever size project you are thinking about."

"The quality of work is fantastic, and Marek is the best project manager you could ask for. The reason I removed one star is because I believe the quoted contract price, specifically for allowances, can improve. You should expect to add a minimum of $20,000 to your contract price. I also recommend referring to your contract throughout to ensure you aren’t getting an extra charge for something that should be included. Like I said, the quality of work is fantastic, but the up front pricing can improve."

"We did a remodel of our Kitchen and Master bath. The kitchen was a big project, taking out a wall and removing the back door, enlarging our bay to accommodate sliding doors. New countertops, cabinets and an island were installed. Tile was removed from the kitchen/ foyer and replaced with hardwood floors. They gave us a time frame for 4 months. We added on painting, carpet installation. tiling a hallway and new vanity and toilet in the half bath. They accommodated the extra work and completed it in a timely manner, without interruption for other jobs. We could not be more pleased with the work. Everything turned out beautifully. Terry, Jody and Brian were a pleasure to work with. They were reliable, on time and cleaned up daily. Jody is a perfectionist and if something wasn't done right it would be redone to meet his standards. They were helpful with design and handled every add on. They did not ask for money up front and kept cost updated frequently."
