"I hired Al to completely renovate my out of date house. He took the house completely down to studs and then rebuilt it according to code, my desires, and what was best. The work included, demolition, leveling the house, insulation, new heating system, new electrical system, new plumbing, remodel kitchen, remodel bathroom, removal of a wall, moving of a wall, installation of hardwood floors, and paint. When I called for a quote he set up a date to come give a quote immediately, he had all of his subcontractors there in a 2 hour window, and had a full quote to me very quickly. "There was more construction work that needed to be done before painting than originally thought.  The contractor worked his way around the house making the necessary repairs, starting in the front and ending in the back yard.  This way the painters could start on the front of the house.  All construction work was top-notch and definitelyy should have been done years ago.  The extent of the repairs was a little more than what was included in the original estimate, and resulted in a $400 up-charge, but once we saw the finished product, it was well worth the extra money.  There is something to be said for peace of mind.  The house has never looked this good."
