"Project went very well.  Shed doctor tore down our old shed and put up the new one and hauled old shed away in a matter of 6 hours.  New shed looks great.  They were punctual and worked diligently.  We are very happy with the result.  Work does not include painting the shed, it has base coating on it.  We would hire Shed doctor again any time.

"Awesome! I contacted Coach House (after getting bids from several others) and once I spoke with Jeff Rabourne I knew I had a professional organization. From start to finish it was handled with the utmost professionalism. Jeff came to my home and he immediately did a survey of the property and space. I have 2 trees in back for shade (Red Oak and Black Locust) and I didn't want to lose them. After careful measurements we decided an 18 by 32 garage would suit my needs and fit in between the trees. Jeff and I then discussed garage doors, service doors and electrical. We needed to build up the concrete slab above grade so it would run off and not into the garage. After I had all my answers I told Jeff 'congratulations' and they had my business. Jeff was onsite during all the major phases of the build to answer questions and make sure everything proceeded as planned. Jeff also took care of all the permits and worked closely with the city to make certain that no issues arose. Slab went in, the pre-built garage was built to exact specs and delivered onsite. They had the garage up in less than a day. Next the electrical contractor completed the work inside the house (I needed a new service panel). I also had the electrician work with me on some wiring inside the home for my home theatre room. Pritt Electric then trenched, laid conduit and got the garage all wired. They installed electrical outlets, lights and the garage door opener in one day. I had no issues with any permit inspections by the city and Rod from Shelbyville even asked how I found out about Coach House because it was some of the best work he has seen. I need to wait for another week or so for the gutters and downspouts (I picked a different color) but the garage is fully functional, dry, wired and ready for decades of trouble-free service. Thank you Jeff and Coach House! Jerry"

"This job went perfectly! Travis and all the people on his team and crew were professional and clearly knew what they were doing. He gave excellent advice when he came out for the estimate. The estimate broke down the cost for various parts of the job, which I found to be very helpful and informative. They far exceeded my expectations on every part of the project and went above and beyond in making sure things were cleared out and trimmed and cleaned u[. I have never had much professional help with my yard other than mulching and tree trimming. Now that I see what great results can be achieved I'll be back in touch with Heath Outdoor!"

"We own 6 kinder care facilities. Over 6 months, they did driveway sealing and paving, siding work and fascia work, painting, concrete, maintenance. Very versatile, can handle anything. They are very warm people and treat the property like their own. They do a wonderful job and are very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them."

"Innovative Garages did an AMAZING job on my garage floor! This included all floor preparation with an industrial diamond concrete grinder, repaired a damaged floor drain area and a large crack across my entire floor. The entire project took less than 2 full days. They also gave me the use of a storage trailer to store all my stuff while they did the work on the floor and even let me keep the trailer another five days while I had my garage walls and ceilings painted. I strongly recommend Innovative Garages if you're considering having your concrete garage floor repaired and looking beautiful. They were also less than half the price of another major company I was considering."

"It went just fine. I had contacted them and they were busy so we delayed it for a while. They actually I think forgot about me but I contacted them and hey came right out and took care of it. I told them initially there was no particular hurry. There was no additional cost. They throw in a few materials as well. I was expecting to pay for some materials and then they just threw it in. Once we got it scheduled, it was quite good. They came in quick and efficient. When you get involved with these timing deals,  the apprehension is that they are going to bill you for additional materials or they are going to be slow at the pace and its going to require additional time but there was nothing like that. So that was nice. They came in, quickly assessed the issue, took care of the problem, there was no need to run for materials because they had everything they needed and didn't even charge me for it. This was the first time I had used them. I've met them before."

"There were a few obstacles once the work began. They found some rot under the doors and there was an electrical problem. The guys did a great job and worked until things were right. I am very happy with the results."

"It went very well. When the workers from Wesley Design arrived I informed them of the jobs I needed done. They asked for clarification on one or two things and then proceeded to get the job done.
I found the workers from Wesley Design to be very professional and hard working. They did a very good job on literally the hottest day of the year.

FAQs for shelter or outbuilding building service projects in Greenfield, IN

A bomb shelter is an abode built to withstand disaster. Bomb shelters may refer to a space or bunker that can protect inhabitants through a hypothetical nuclear attack, apocalypse, or any other massive crisis. People usually build bomb shelters underground and stock them to live there a few days to a month at a time. Doomsday bunkers accommodate long-term living rather than just through a short crisis.

Builders construct bomb shelters with reinforced steel, box culvert, concrete, or other durable materials (but many professionals do not recommend shipping containers, as they’re not designed to live underground. If building underground, you’ll first have to excavate land before building the actual structure. You’ll have to implement air and water filtration systems, septic systems, and power supply.

It takes a lot of experience to safely and legally construct a bomb shelter, not to mention make sure it’s fit to live in for extended periods of time. It’s best to talk to a residential structural engineer near you for proper guidance.

The current standard filtration systems require filtering both air and water. For air, you’ll want an NBC filter system, which both domestic and international producers make. NBC stands for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical, which filters out all three. If you’re only building your shelter for natural disasters, chemical attacks, and biological attacks, you may opt for the less expensive HEPA filter system.

Water filtration requires the same level of care. You’ll likely want to have a large water storage capacity to survive short-term disasters. For long-term living, you’ll want to have a water filtration system.

Rising S bunker prices depend on the size, ranging anywhere from $20,000 to $9 million. Their least expensive model is 96 square feet while their most expensive model has a gym, swimming pool, hot tub, and bowling alley.

  • Mini: $45,500

  • Standard Bomb Shelter: $67,500–$109,500

  • Silver Leaf: $140,000–$182,500

  • Admiral: $180,000–$500,000

  • Xtreme: $450,000–$780,000

  • Xtreme Bunker Complex: $840,000–$1,830,000

  • Luxury Series: $3,800,000–$9,600,000

You almost always need a permit to build a bunker on land with any type of public utilities running through it. You’ll want to check with your local building code enforcement agency to see if this is the case for your area.

Because you’re building a structural component that often requires electricity, water, and sewage services, you’ll need to apply for permits to attach these utilities to your new property. However, off-grid-only units in rural areas may not need all or any of the permitting you’d normally find in more urban settings.

To survive a nuclear blast, you’ll need to have your bunker at least three feet underground. However, it’s usually advisable to put it further underground. To survive a close strike, you’ll want to have the bunker at least 10 feet down and with five-foot thick reinforced concrete. However, knowing exactly how deep to build depends on the size of the blast you’re trying to avoid. Most bunkers don’t need to be more than 5 feet below the ground.
