This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for.  The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful.  That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project.

Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction. 

Experience, Experience, Experience and Professionalism, Professionalism, Professionalism are the hallmarks of Art DeRosa and company.  He is a seasoned performer and pretty much seen it all.  Art has such a vast amount of home construction experience in both hi-end and medium end homes that he can draw upon a wealth of knowledge in all construction disciplines to implement a fine finished result.  As a former tool and die maker his penchant for hi-precision finish work yields highest quality appearances to things like moldings; trim; windows; doors; floors; etc. etc. 

This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out,  bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff.

I would not hesitate to recommend Art DeRosa & Co for any planned New House and/or House Renovation of any kind.

However, outright refused to install Schluter Ditra beneath Tile floors, Now I've got squeaks, no cracking yet. Entire crew (except supervisor) were exceptional. "I am selling my home in Westchester NY and during the inspection process, it was discovered that there was mold in my attic. Obviously it needed to be removed at my expense. I initially called another company, one of those national franchise type remediation companies and I absolutely flipped out at their estimate and the scope of work they were proposing. A week in my house, we couldn't' sleep in our bedrooms etc. Thankfully my realtor remembered that she had worked with Frank, who is one of the owners of Eco Green Solutions, on another job. WELL the experience was amazing from beginning to end. Frank came the next day to assess the situation and provided a thorough and complete estimate by the next morning. He explained the mold remediation licensing process and all the other factors that are important in choosing a provider of this service. I called him on his cell phone with more questions, and he was patient and responsive. The office staff there was great in terms of scheduling and planning for the service date. And finally, once it came time to do the work, the 2 men who came to my house were courteous, professional and spotless. There is LITERALLLY no reason to call in any company besides Eco Green Solutions if you find yourself in need of mold removal."

"Anthony Gandolfo gave a very reasonable quote for our bathroom remodel.  He laid out plans clearly and gave us day-to-day updates throughout the process.  The job took a little longer than expected--3.5 weeks as opposed to 2.5 weeks, however there were unexpected delays.  
Anthony does beautiful tile work!!  Please be sure that he is the one on the team that does this part of the job, as he is meticulous. He doesn't mind you pointing out any little detail that might need more attention.  The only major problem during the job was a leak that was discovered in a heating line after the ceiling had already been sheet rocked.  Anthony addressed the issue quickly and his plumber was came to the house later that day to eventually fix the issue.
Both bathrooms turned out great!  There was an unresolved plumbing issue in the main bathroom (the shower runs ever so slightly while running a bath), however overall we are very satisfied with how it turned out.  My family would definitely consider hiring Gandolfo Contracting again in the future.

"Allied performed amazing work. Tom came to my house and told me the measurements and exactly what I needed to purchase. I purchased everything and his guys did all the work. The bathroom that they redid was always problematic with mildew and poor ventilation. They did a terrific job remodeling it to fix the issue, and finishing it to make it look awesome. Tom is the owner and he is very responsive via text, email and phone. He is professional and a pleasure to deal with. I have always had a difficult time with contractors, but not with Allied. My wife and I were so happy with the master bathroom that we hired them to do our kids bathroom as well which also came out amazing.
