"We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We have a small house in Romeo that was built in the late 1800s. Our basement was in bad shape. All of the beams and support poles were wood and the majority of them were either sagging or cracking. We had one contractor tell us that no one was going to want the repair work, another basement repair contractor said that it was way beyond their capabilities and a different one came in and whipped up a $20k estimate within an hour and got pushy when we didn’t want to hand over a deposit. Then we found HomeSpec... Bobby from HomeSpec walked in and said he absolutely wanted our business but wanted us to have a structural engineer come in first so he could properly quote it and provide us with appropriate solution. Bobby provided us with a list of structural engineers and even called one of them up so we would have an idea of how much it would cost to get a report. We were so impressed with his sincere desire to help us. Bobby came back with a manager after we got the structural engineering report and spent over two hours with us one evening getting a plan together. Two months later, the work began on time and was completed within the 5 day time period that they had promised us. The foreman, Roger, and all of the crew were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. We just had the local building inspector come out for the final walk-through and he was thoroughly impressed with the finished work. He said that whoever did the work was someone he would be happy to hire to do work at his own home. From start to finish, HomeSpec went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"I would like to begin by saying I would recommend this company for any project they are able to complete. Rangel's Waterproofing and Construction installed a basement tile system and a new basement egress window the week of October 9, 2017. Ozzie Rangel and his twin sons, Vincent and Gabriel, own and operate the business. Vincent is the manager, writing the estimates and contracts. Vincent and his dad Ozzie came to write my estimate. Both men were very respectful of me and honored all my questions. Ozzie promised he or one of his sons would lead my crew. Not only did Gave lead my crew, Ozzie worked at my house at least two days. When the project was completed all things promised on the contract were completed as promised. Even though it took three trips to Menard's on Friday afternoon to get all supplies needed no corners were cut. Friday completion was the goal and the crew worked until 9 PM to reach the goal. In spite of the lateness and being dark the basement and yard were cleaned beyond my expectation before they left. Yes, the project was completed on time in spite of many glitches, but the best part of working with Rangel's was the courteousness and professionalism they displayed toward each other and me. By the time the project was compete we felt like friends. There were never any harsh words spoken to anyone. Gabe was even very polite and patient in teaching a new crew member. I would hire Rangel's Waterproofing & Construction again."

"Dennis Hearth and Home installed a beautiful gas fireplace for us and the masonry work was excellent. We have also used them for all our household maintenance, everything from shingling our roof and fixing leaks to constructing steps and handrails. I would recommend them to everyone. "We had a basement that always had water in it almost year round. We decided to sell the house and move to North Carolina. Still trying to sell the home we decided to have a French Drain System put in with a bleeder line, as it would not sell as it was. The Stay Dry team was excellent from start to finish. Their team was professional and was accommodating to the fact that we needed to keep the home clean due to selling it and took extra steps to ensure no contamination spread to the rest of the house. "I was very happy with the estimate I got from Corey, and he explained how things were going to be done. I had the waterproofing done on one entire wall of my basement, and a sump pump put in, on one of the coldest days of this year, and the guys were great, they put up plastic to keep things from getting dusty, and they were done in 1 day!! I was very impressed! I did have a tiny leak, a few days later, but the company sent someone out almost immediately, and that was resolved. I highly recommend this company, and know that I went with the best!!!"

Corey went over all details and explained everything so patiently to me, and then he went out and bought a brand new sump pump and replaced it with our old broken one at no cost for his labor. I can say she's a great customer service. Tracy went through the finance and explained even the small details with kind and professionalism. Jake (The Foreman) and his very polite and professional team. All I can say regarding this team (I just love them, honestly) very quiet, very professional, very clean, very polite, knows what they are doing, and very respectful. Usually, the workers are talking a lot or swearing, but this team and Jake were very professional. I never even heard them talking just doing their job with respect for all my family and kids in the house. "They were great, the man did the job, got out. In the winter, when lot of snow was still in the ground of water against the basement and we have a poured foundation, it had leak, they had stopped the leak we had. They did what they pledged to do. They were here on-time, they got done quickly and then they went and the overall seam link that was leaking was about 7 feet from upper part down to the ground, and we are very happy. They did the work they promised to do on time and on budget."
