"I called Cable Connexions, they were able to come to my home the same day.  As we discussed the project I was given suggestions on how to make my system work better.  The estimate was very reasonable, so I agreed to have the work done. "First he did a stress test on the computer to be sure it was worth repairing, cleaned the interior, installed a new fan and a second hard drive.  Then he removed a virus, installed Windows 7 OS, Microsoft Office, ccleaner, spybot.  Temporarily installed a program that allowed me to delete all of the multiple copies of my photos that the virus had created.  Recommended and installed a 5 year antivirus program that was $156.00 (about $32 per year, seemed reasonable to me).  Followed up multiple times to be sure

I can't forget to mention that he did all of this in 2 days,  picked up my computer Thursday morning and I had it back and working Friday afternoon.
Initially when I checked Angie's List I contacted two PC repair providers willing to come to my home - Tom contacted me almost immediately - which is why I chose him.  He was always right on time when we had appointments - which is a huge pet peeve of mine - and he was friendly and strived to make me more PC savvy than I was when I met him. 
If I bought a new PC tomorrow I would schedule an appointment with Tom to maximize its performance and remove all of the unnecessary junk that is installed by the manufacturer, like I said before this computer has never worked better.
I have to say if I don't use Angie's List again this year that this experience was worth the enrollment fee.

"Installer arrived at pre-determined time and date.   I could not make out his signature on the contract.  He was very professional and through.   He installed the sensors on all windows and doors as we requested or he recommended.  When finished he took his time to explain the operation of the system and the remotes.
